Yes, so sad when JFK JR was lost. And I just had a sick feeling in my stomach from the moment they announced it on the TV that his plane was missing.....

My choice on the poll was Tom Selleck. Tall, good looking, has aged relatively well without "work", and even now with deep lines and creases has that "something" that can't be precisely defined, but it is THERE. Love him in the TV movies where he is the former LA detective who was fired for drinking and is now the police chief of a small town in New England called "Paradise".

I was kind of looking at it as an overall kind of thing.

Paul Newman was a close second.

Some other men whom I have found to be extremely attractive who are not listed:

Timothy Olyphant - Star of the series "Justified" Tall, great body, nice guy in interviews. The man is so hot that he walks sexy!

James Dean - Probably my earliest "movie star crush" I had his picture on my wall as a preteen, cried when he died. (Oops, he is listed.)

Micahel Baryshnykov - Russian ballet dancer who defected to the U.S. He is old and wrinkled now (like me) but as a young man he was just gorgeous and gave off an energy that was his very own. A movie to watch him in is "White Knights" with the late Gregory Hines (American actor and tap dancer). They are so very good together in this film, both as actors and dancers.

George Harrison (of the Beatles) He was always, always my favorite Beatle. The quiet one. A great talent, plus a great humanitarian. For me, there was just something about him that none of the others could come near.

Bob Marley (Jamaican reggae singer) Certainly not a traditionally handsome man, but he was HOT.


Johnny Depp - I can't see what others see in him, but I know they do. Too small and too effeminate for my tastes.

Tom Cruise - Uggh! Not that he is a bad looking man. But he just comes across as so arrogant and smug. I really lost all respect for him as a person when he publicly criticized Brooke Shields for taking medication when she developed post-partum depression. What an arrogant azzhole.
