Can someone Tweet Vinnie? :waitasec: I would but I don't Tweet.

OMG!! Vasco Thompson!! Hilarious--I investigated him and these phone calls like CRAZY probably back in 2008/2009.

IIRC I finally after much frussshhhtration as Casey would say decided that his phone number contained 2 numbers that were transposed in some public records database to inaccurately match up with the number George was actually calling. And I THINK--but I have to go back and check if I kept those notes--that the actual number he called was someone from his work.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This is the most reasonable and logical explanation!

As an example................my telephone number is 1 digit off from the phone number of the music department of a local university. I often get phone calls from people trying to call the music dept. and mis-dialing reaching me instead. I give them the correct number, but sometimes they call 2 or 3 times in a row before getting the number right.

People mis-dialing or transposing telephone numbers happens every day, everywhere. It's been happening since telephones were invented.

This is a VERY desperate move by a VERY desperate defense team.

Um, my understanding is that Mr. Lippman has been informed. ;)

Honestly, through the past 3 years, I've never been a huge fan of GA or CA, but I've just got to say...I don't know how in the world GA is going to get past all of this crap. That poor man. He has been through hell and it keeps getting worse for him. I can't imagine what else they are going to try to do to ruin his reputation and his life.
This might be what they want, put this out there for GA to hear to rattle his cage so he will blow a gasket on the stand.

Here is some info for HLN - I had the number wrong, obviously ~ LOL ~ Sorry Tulessa.

I didn't investigate this like you did, but the first thing that came to my mind was: someone probably called a wrong number. It showed up on caller ID. The recipient of the phone call probably dialed that number when they saw that they missed a call. There was probably no answer. The other recipient sees that he missed a call from that particular number. There was no voicemail, so he probably called that number to see who it was. This may have repeated a few times until finally the two callers spoke with each other and one probably said, "oh...this isn't________. Sorry. I must have the wrong number". I've had this happen to me more than once.

Oh, how I hope the defense is allowed to put him on the stand.

JB: Mr. VT, it is true, is it not, that your phone number in July 2008 was 407-4*5-3082, is it not true, isn't it?

VT: Um, no. :waitasec:

JB: And you are not a chemist, ARE YOU NOT???

VT: No.

JB: No further questions.

:floorlaugh:....but, wait...why would the DT need VT when their client claimed Caylee drowned "accidentally" in the backyard pool? Oh, I get it...GA misdials a number and what are the odds it is a person with a flair for kidnapping and then strikes up a conversation and offers him a job...conceal Caylee? Not...
