Australia - Kiesha Thompson , 24, Alleged deliberate hit-and-run - deceased , Daisy Hill- Brisbane , QLD , 19th July 2024- 2 people charged.

They probably loved themselves on TikTok, preserving for all time their utter idiocy, their relentless ridiculousness , egging each other on, spiralling ever downwards into real crazy, as a calculated choice.. From the little known, there appears to be not a jot of reflection, not a skerrick of remorse, not a moment of 'wait, this is a bad idea'...
I agree with you Trooper. It is a sad world.

When you heard of stupidity of this magnitude it used to be safe to assume it hadn't occurred in Australia. Not anymore.
Sadly Cliff Hardy, it still happens.
Even today, I had experienced it with an EX years ago, lucky for me after a few close calls which I was aware, some I was unaware of, but after an close incident, girlfriend saw common sense and said no more. When I was informed I was stunned at the spitefulness the two of them would go
There was the Krope case in Melbourne, where a Guy plotted with his Mistress to kill his wife just over 15 years ago, both got charged, he took his own life life ,mistress did time in prison. Before Court, they wanted so much to be together, after their arrest they both hated each other.
Another case, which I thing was a a strangest case was a guy and his girlfriend plotting to do away with his wife, this was after the Krope Case , I think about 7 years ago The plan was when everything was set in place and Timing was perfect as well as the weather and witnesses, they had cased out where cameras were in St Kilda.. so this was being arranged for some weeks. He would go out to Dinner with wife, if everything is perfect timing , suggets wife to take a walk along while he goes and buys something, call Mistress, this is it, she drives to street near beach with indenticial change of clothes/shoes which he changes into before raising the alarm regarding his spouse. Scarying thing was they came so close, to perfect crime, they were using public telephones to use to contact each other during their long affair and recent plotting. They thought they were so clever would not be caught However the last few phones calls were being monitored by the Victorian Drug Squad, as this Phone Booth was being also used to traffic Drugs. Thank heavens the squad took action when call came through of it happening tonight and arrested stopped the Wife and arrested the couple, both are jailed , both now hate/blame each other.
IMO, sadly in this case we are seeing the same thing, they will turn and blame each other .

I am surprised that he has actually managed to separate himself ( charges wise ) from Madame Lash, aka Miss Larissa,.... that must have taken some fine embroidery in the legal sense.... I really thought the Prosecutor would bundle them up together, but this method pitches them against each other, which , it was never going to be pretty , but this is a tooth and claw business..

She must have somehow managed to be assigned another barrister by now, surely, and he/she is up for some heavy lifting....Unless she has attached herself to his legal rep, since she fired her original representative....

Maybe down the track they will be tried together.... not at all improbable.

This murder is strange, even for QLD>

I am completely gobsmacked that Miss Larissa got bail today. The world’s gone mad.
whaaaaat//???? bail???? '''

'''At her Brisbane Supreme Court bail application today, the prosecution said Sant changed the Toyota Prado's licence plates before the alleged murder.
Crown prosecutor Nathan Crane said Sant found a similar model vehicle on Facebook Marketplace and used its plates, changing them back after the alleged murder.
Crane said Sant had also swapped the plates a couple of days earlier at a Logan shopping centre.
"There is consistency in the way of the modus operandi," he said.

Unbelievable!

NOW she considers her children’s future lives? Honestly, why do her children get the benefit of having a mother in attendance and Keisha’s children don’t? Don’t want to do the time, don’t do the crime.

Those kids are far better off with her right out of the picture.. she is a born killer, ..... surely she has not been let loose to reside with those poor children!... She'll be in the family way in no time flat, too. Then use that as an out to prison

Seriously? Sounds so self absorbed and not remorseful.
I really feel for Kiesha’s family

Sant was supported by family at court, with the prosecution reading letters she had written to them while in custody.
"I can't be away from them for that long ... I need to get home to them," Sant wrote of her children.
"I don't want to spend 15 years in here ... I can't get over the fact that I could very well miss out on the kids' lives."

She obviously thinks she is going to get her charge bought down to manslaughter, or she thinks she can persuade a jury it was manslaughter.... she has not as yet figured out the sentence for murder, in QLD... It's a mandatory life sentence, in QLD...

Section 305 of the Act provides that a person convicted of murder must be sentenced to life imprisonment. This mandatory sentence cannot be varied by any law of Queensland. Additionally, a person convicted of more than one offence of murder must serve a minimum of 30 years inside a prison before they can be released.

What Actions Might Constitute Murder?

Any deliberate act, done with the intention of causing death or grievous bodily harm, will constitute the offence of murder where it causes another person’s death.

The offence of murder is commonly committed where one person, for reasons of jealousy, greed or profit, deliberately kills another.

Justice Peter Davis actually said this??? “just a woman charged with murder…..”.
THEN he dishes out “strict conditions”….. oh the suffering of only being allowed ONE mobile…..

'''He also told the court Ms Sant’s relationship with her co-accused had since ended and she was unlikely to reoffend because his alleged “influence is no longer there”.'''

What a load of rubbish.. if she is that easily influenced , she is a tremendous danger to the community. Who knows who else she will fall in with?

Looks like Tyler is going to have to dig a bit of a shallow grave for Miss Larrissa, if he is to avoid a life sentence.. He could claim she influenced him into this ridiculous murder. They will have to burn each other up to get anywhere with any mitigation of sentencing.

Sure, her mum doesn’t want her hardluck daughter to take the rap for killing a young mother. Even though Larissa Sant allegedly did the killing part. Who wants to start over in their 60s taking care of little ones? Definitely not living the dream.

Missed this article back on 12th December, 2024, unfortunately paywalled though….

“Bombshell prison recordings between accused killer Larissa Rita Mae-Leigh Sant and her mum laid bare

A conversation between a woman accused of killing her love rival, by allegedly mowing her down with a 4WD outside a Logan child care, and her mother have been laid bare in shocking court documents.

Bombshell prison recordings have captured the moment a woman accused of killing her love rival by running her down with a four-wheel drive is told by her mother that her co-accused partner is “tryin’ to frame you for the 🤬🤬🤬kin’ lot”.”

Who would be that hungry enough to partake in one of Larissa's sandwiches? Count me out.

So Mum is right into it, and onto it, one of those amateur legal eagles as well.how lucky can Larissa be, with advice like this..... I am still puzzled at her working at the shop, didn't she get bail on the precise reason that she was needed to look after her various progeny? Just a young mother seeking bail to be reunited with her children?...

You would not be Larissa's court appointed barrister for all the fees in the world....
