Why Have George and Cindy Requested a Video Visitation With Casey?

Yeah, but if she called him and told him where the car was he would not have waited to get the car until he recieved the notice from the tow company on July 15th. Anway, there's no way she would have called her dad because of the smell in the car. Even if Jesse or Amy went there with her I bet you she would have gotten them to just drop her off. I can't imagine she wanted anyone to get close to the car. I'm trying to remember where she was waiting for Tony when he picked her up from there. Also, did someone say there's a gas station right at that intersection where the Amscot is?
There's a lot of good info here...try "search" and maybe it will pop up.

Ya think maybe we should move to the 31 day thread?

You're making my point, all the more reason that her "plan" was for someone to steal the car. By leaving it at a check cashing place- not always the best clientele, and by parking it next to the dumpster to mask the smell, and leaving a bag that looks like a purse in it, makes it all the more attractive to someone to steal, IMO:twocents:...
She didn't count on it being towed, and the tow company notifying her parents.

I agree she wanted it to be stolen the more I think of it....but she could not have counted it on being stolen, even with the keys left in it, you can't count on what you want to happen. You have be an idiot.

I'm very interested in why ICA's parents want to talk to her before the trial begins. Is the Defense going to cast doubt using her parents?

I believe CA discussed her exasperation with GA and their martial problems with ICA enough to make it impossible for ICA to respect her father. He was the one that CA wanted to divorce without giving up the house, etc.,

Easy to see how ICA might just throw her own father under the bus. Will she have CA's blessings? Are they all going to stick together like a corporation or not? What about Lee?

This could go anywhere!

See, I think that Lee IS the wild card here. He knows all about how it was to grow up Anthony, but he's also the only one who hasn't stepped forward to lie their A$$ off to LE. IMO

If I were the A's, I'd be mighty scared by this fact alone!

We all heard Lee on the very first phone from the jail.

"I'm not going to go round and round just like you've been hurting Mom for the last month"

How raw is that statement?

I'm just dying to know what the defense team has up their sleave. It would be hard for me to believe anything the defense says after they tried to blame it on Kronk, the meter reader.

This is true, but however later on he starts trying to blame Amy or Jesse Grund like Cindy. If you listen to Lee's deposition in the Zenaida civil suit, he is clearly trying to put Casey in a better light. Unless he's changed since that deposition.

yes there was a gas station visable from where she dumped her car at amscot she would actually have been looking at it as she parked the car so the running out of gas and gas cans are jus ta ploy she could easily have bought a gas can from the station or got someone to bring a can and walked to the gas station, she could see it. She left that car with a visible purse just in the hope that someone would steal it so she could blame them for caylee thats how stupid she is however Im so glad no one took it because that would have created a reasonable doubt bah thwarted again kc ...
roll on 17th may is all i can say

there was a tv station recently did a special and the reporter was filming where she had been where the car was etc and the gas station was clearly shown and commented on by the reporter. This was only a few days ago a special im sorry not american so couldnt be 100% of what station but I think the reporter was bob keeling I am sure some kind soul here will know who i mean

One of her friend's or was it Richard Grund said she could not do it all alone...she's not that smart. I agree she's not that smart, but how smart do you have to be do that alone? What I'm amazed at is all her friends said she acted normal like nothing happened. I think the average person would be a nervous wreck after they dropped their child's corpse in the woods....for quite a while too....regardless of whether it was premeditated or an accident with a cover up.
BBM. You're talking average- that's not Casey. Her own mother called her a sociopath. Apparently she doesn't plan more than 10 min. in advance. She probably got more emboldened the longer it went without the body being found. Casey probably figured nobody would ever find the body, even though she dumped her close to the road. She didn't count on the receding flood waters and Roy Kronk. That's why she didn't react to the search at Jay Blanchard park, but fell over when they announced they found the remains on Suburban...

True, she isn't very bright- is a high-school drop-out and apparently pretty lazy too...

But Annie didn't live there anymore and Casey didn't have much contact with Dante by than. I remember the detectives told her in her interview at Universal that they saw the videotapes of Sawgrass and she's not appearing in them. They probably would have cameras in the office too. I never heard them mention she was even at the office. And besides her mother I think a few of her friends said they heard call the nanny Zanny way before June 17th which is when Zenaida visited the apartment.

The name Zenaida Fernadez Gonzalez was NEVER mentioned by Casey... as far as I know... until July 15th, 2008. Everyone knew this "nanny" as Zanny... cute, huh? Zanny the Nanny. It rhymes. :banghead:

It has been thought... like it has been pointed out... that Zanny was code for Xanax. That is the street name for Xanax. Casey spells Zanny "Zany" if I remember correctly. I don't know if that has any significance?

She had to have come up with that name somehow... and the tying in with the Sawgrass Apartments is what makes a lot of people think that this ZFG who filed the lawsuit against Casey is how Casey got that name. I do not think it is a coincidence that this ZFG was at Sawgrass Apartments and Casey blamed a ZFG for kidnapping her child.

Let me go and try to find what I had read re this information. I know when I read it, I almost had apoplexy! Yes, there are gas stations close to Amscot. the closest I'd say would be right across the parking lot next door. Forget if it's a Sam's Club or Walmart, but photos show it plain as day.:banghead:

Unlike George, and I DO know how to spell and pronounce- "Zany" is pronounced "Zehnny" (no phonetic symbols on my keyboard, long a, like in the word 'weigh' sound). The word 'zany' means crazy. "Zanny" on the other hand, does rhyme with nanny. It was probably a mispelling on Casey's part.

Wondering if we have all been duped...After the hearing on Friday was ICA returned to OCC or was she moved to the jury selection location?
If she was moved at that time to the jury selection location then CA could have acted as a decoy today at the OCC whilst GA visited with ICA at the jury selection facility and no one would have been the wiser.
Just a thought...

I think it was a re-run of Greta's show you are talking about. It was Mark Furhman standing in the Amscot parking lot talking about the gas stations near there. You could see them behind him.

Thats a great thought. From what I gathered not saying I could'nt be wrong but there wont be a need to move ICA to the selected location because it will be with in driving distance. They will drive her back and forth to and from the location each day. But like I said I could be wrong  Or maybe its I would rather it be that way because ICA staying away from her normal cell she would probably look at it as a mini vacation

Don't mean to make fun:floorlaugh:, but how ironic that CA made that 1st 911 call and mentioned theft of money, and now she just gives it to her, if it's true the amount was $400- this time around. :banghead: It makes no sense, but then a lot of things in this family don;t make much sense.:maddening:

My question is will visits be videotaped when casey is sent to prison? I can't remember the prison she is likely to go to and I wonde4r if they videotape prison visits there. I would be curious to see what the first visit with her parents will be like after she is sentenced.

She looked pretty defeated. Like she FINALLY realises that if the Perp Anth could MURDER her own sweet baby, then she would have NO PROBLEM AT ALL blaming her parents for it in a court of law. And that maybe, just maybe - it was a huge, HUGE waste to sell their souls for such a daughter.

At least I hope that penny has dropped. (I know, I know. Fat chance)

Really agree with you SevenSeas - we've always been pretty suspicious of Lee, especially with the Memorial spectacle but his testimony at the last hearing was jaw dropping.

Apparently we have misjudged his actions for some time. As much as he does care for his sister, it doesn't appear that he will lie for her.
