I think CA called the police as a way to force KC to tell Caylee's whereabouts.
I don't think she knew Caylee was dead when she made that call, otherwise the call probably wouldn't have been made.

That may be true, but she obviously expected the worst at the time of her call, given her "dead body" comment.

Cindy was 100% cooperative when she was interviewed by the police during the initial investigation. She offered up the entire car without a search warrant. She washed the pants out of ignorance before she even called the cops. At that time she did not even know the depth of the situation. IMO, this business that CA covered evidence on purpose has no validity.
She has done some whacky things but this is certainly not one of them.

Exactly. NO one was thinking at that time the car was a crime scene.
LE had access to the car all along, but they were initially focused on Casey's story and trying to find a kidnapped and hopefully alive Caylee. They investigated the car the next day, after the lies were confirmed and someone mentioned the smell again.
The tow yard guy who'd smelled death before wasn't thinking as he chucked the bag over the fence that maybe it was evidence and he should leave that bag in the trunk. He may have thought about it later, but at that moment he did not.
Hindsight is 20/20...
Everyone jokes about it, but I think when Cindy learned from George about the stinky bag of "rotten pizza" in the trunk, she truly believed in her own mind that is what caused the smell. Unrealistic, but given the state she was in, it had to be the answer.

Agree. CA latched onto the pizza story, because she desperately wanted to believe it. She didn't want to think about the horrible smell possibly coming from her granddaughter's decomposing body.

I wouldn't say anything, unless I knew something directly relevant to the case. THEN, I'd say it to LE. Maybe that's also how many of them think?

Your gbaby has been kidnapped, your daughter has been arrested. Everything you ever thought you knew is unraveling at the speed of light. What is relevant?

If it were my family everything would be relevant until proven otherwise.

I couldn't disagree with you more. My husband is in the medical field and it's a virtual Peyton Place. What doctor is sleeping with what nurse. Who did it in the examining room during working hours. Who is gay and who isn't. It was like a bunch of old biddies gossiping over the back fence.
Obviously , we worked in different facilities , and I would never join in to that type a conversation at work , had I been approached.

It's possible the fact that that bag was tossed into the dumpster actually saved the evidence. It was noteworthy when the bag was tossed at the tow yard. When the car was being cleaned out later the bag may have been tossed and forgotten until it was too late.

Yes, the "tow yard guy" didn't give the smell a second thought after G & C left. Until the next morning when he ran out in his jammies and flip-flops to do a dumpster dive, only to find out that LE had returned during the night and retrieved the bag! Simon Birch is one of the hero's in this sad saga.

I realize this. My point is, things inadvertently happened with the car before the importance of it was realized. People are saying Cindy washed clothes from the car with the intent to obstruct, and it's not fair to assume that. The fact that the car had things removed from it (by whomever) before the car was booked as evidence is merely an unfortunate circumstance of the case.

As far as the bag is concerned, I've thought that it's possible that bag won't do the prosecution any favors. Mr. B certainly had the best intentions throughout- however, the fact remains that the bag was contaminated in an evidentiary sense once it was touched and removed from the scene. The defense's case will be largely built around refuting state's evidence... surely they would have a field day with that bag, as they would with any evidence that was disturbed prior to collection.

This is just a thought of mine..........why would GA quit LE (11 years) in Ohio, take wife and 2 tots to Fla, work MANY security jobs? Anything hapen in Ohio area? Are the "A"
family living in a bubble? What about girlfriend GA was suppose to be with during his divorse from CA. Wonder why he went back after separated 2 ? years? Was he even around when KC had Caylee?

I'm very curious as to why GA left the force as well.

His brother Rick did mention on another forum that after he left he tried work with his own (GA's) Dad at their family car dealership. That didn't work out. He later had his own car dealership which also, apparently didn't work out.

Apart from this scrap of info. that Rick has offered up, we know nothing.

It all depends on where you work. I disagree with the generalization, but that's based on my experience. I think it also depends on the age of the co-workers, younger co-workers in our area tended to gossip more. But honestly, no one had the time to spend on gossip. It was very patient-oriented.

I don't believe that CA has been a practicing nurse for quite a while.

MOO

Can't you just picture this guy jumping in the dumpster in his p.j's & flip flops- that's being unconcerned for yourself and realizing the importance of the situation. You just have to smile when you realize there are Simon's out there :)

I belive Cindy was working as RN at a nursing home --- I believe that is what she stated but then.....

I personally wouldn't even want to be on that families Christmas card bit....however, can you imagine what this years letter of whatever they did this past 12 months could be like???

I worked Operating Room Technician and Mental Health Psychology , my co-workers were special to me but few of us mingled beyond work. Since I retired, some of us get together now and then . There is no place in the medical field for chumming and gossip , no time for it if you are doing a good job. We never discussed our personal lives, too busy assisting others and saving lives.
If she was a home health care provider, her contact with colleagues was probably quite limited to begin with.

if she was at nursing home her main thing would be to give medications to residents...emergencies do come up with but they have time for chit-chat amongst themselves---:waitasec:

One problem. That bag was recovered and there was NO PIZZA in that bag - just an empty box.

She was supervising home health RNs; not working at a facility. Prolly spent a lot of her time at the office, reading the clinical notes.

I looked again, don't see any statement made by Cindy in that interview.

Like, that she suspected JG "from day one." Or, that KC was "afraid of JG," and that JG, "is the only one who could threaten KC, like that." You missed THOSE statements?

IMO she TRASHES Jesse even after she is told he is not a suspect. I believe she also trashes Amy. ABC

She did. She said she suspected JG or AH. LE finally confronted and STATED, "JG does not have Caylee."

It's the same interview where LE confronted CA about constantly changing her stories.
