From Charley Project:
Kruck was last seen in the vicinity of 1900 West Finn Place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 17, 2020. He has never been heard from again. He didn't own a vehicle at the time of his disappearance and traveled on foot, by bus or by getting a ride from someone.

Kruck had recently moved Milwaukee from Chicago, Illinois, and was staying with friends and working as a welder. According to his friends, he had talked about a woman he met online and said he wanted to travel to Texas and subsequently to Mexico to meet her, something his friends tried to discourage him from doing.

He did not have enough money to get to Texas on his own and it's not clear whether he traveled there after his disappearance. His family stated that he kept in regular touch with them and they don't believe he would have voluntarily gone without contact for as long as this. His case remains unsolved.

Both the mother's and Alex’s facebooks were deleted, which I think was a huge mistake. Look right above this post, @Pennysmom1 posted that his father had just given Alex $200. There was a post, the last post, on Alex’s fb that had crumpled up ones on his sheetless bed and he was bragging about it. His friends teased him about not even putting sheets on his bed. Some of the others made comments I can’t recall, but not so friendly. So he had money, put it on social media, we know his friends saw it. Police could have interviewed those friends to see if someone knew something about a mugging. I don’t know what to say. I’m not sure Facebook can retrieve posts, but if it can, perhaps I could encourage the police to have mom restore it so they can see the comments. I’ll email mke pd tomorrow

Here’s an older fb of his: Log into Facebook
