I hope it is not this lovely woman that was in that car. But, the fact is it is someone. Someone's loved one. This is just so awful!
Wow I didn't know a car can burn that hot!
So this was not an accident it seems. Someone set the car on fire in that driveway. Was she carjacked and then days later killed? Doesn't seem likely. Whose property is this?
It will be close to impossible to get satisfying answers from the remains as they are too disintegrated.
How terrifying for the family.
I live in Wisconsin and this is the first I've seen anything about this woman missing. Does anyone know exactly where in Illinois she was headed to?
The burned car was found parked in the driveway of a home. So it wasn't an accident while out on the road. As Alainera said in an earlier post, whose home it was found it might yield some clues. Burnt body found in car of missing Wisconsin woman; family seeks answersIt does not say if they think foul play is involved or if she had an accident and the car burned due to damage. Maybe, they don't even know?
Yes, a car fire can get up to 1500 degrees, and human remains are normally cremated at 1400-1800 degrees. Hopefully, there's a good forensic odontologist up there.Warning: somewhat graphic re the state of the remains.

WGN reports the car was found burning in a driveway off Stearns School Road. Stearns School Road crosses Rt. 41. Original reports said car was found at 36500 block of North Rt. 41. I would assume the car was found in a driveway at Stearns School Road and 41. Just a few houses near that intersection Burnt body found in car of missing Wisconsin woman; family seeks answersThings I wonder...
Was she married? Divorced?
Where was the car found?
Who last saw her at her house?
It is somewhat enroute. Lots of contruction on 94, so Waze often takes you on 41.I wonder whose driveway she was in. Someone she knew or maybe a vacant home? How long was the car there before it burned? How long had it been burning before someone noticed it?
Burned beyond recognition in a place that was not on the route to her destination. Very strange.

I don't think the house where the car was found would be connected. I think the long driveways near a major highway (41) entrance is a good spot to abandon a car.The burned car was found parked in the driveway of a home. I didn't say connected but there might be clues there. Could the resident have seen something, heard a voice, found trash or something in the drive that didn't come from them. I'm sure LE has spoken to them.I don't think the house where the car was found would be connected. I think the long driveways near a major highway (41) entrance is a good spot to abandon a car.

Quite possibly a suicide - I know, I know, who would choose that way to go - it does happen much more often than you'd think, though.
I know LE is trying to retrace her route to see if she may have stopped at any store or ATM machine.
I think the suspect or suspects forced entry when she was either getting in or out of her vehicle.
I think they forced her to give up her passwords to her bank account information or even make her take money out of the ATM.
Once they had no further use for letting her live they bound her up in the car or killed her then set the blaze to destroy evidence.
It's so heartbreaking to know an innocent person can be targeted and murdered simply going about their daily lives.
