Looks like the defense team got a couple extra days in the Zocco child *advertiser censored* case. Kelly's uncle is not happy!

I'm sorry but I don't understand "got a couple extra days". What are you referring to please?

Zocco's lawyers expected to file motions in April to try to suppress evidence discovered from the search warrants. Search of Zocco's apartment was conducted in October.

Also the lawyers want to have Zocco's computer examined by their own expert.

http://fox6now.com/2014/02/21/new-chapter-in-criminal-case-against-kris-zocco/

I don't see a ruling on the computer issue.

They say the April decision which is two months away (re insufficient evidence to search apt last October) may be put off? Why?

The article sucks imo. Nothing is clear.

Are the lawyers saying that Zocco's phone was examined without cause too?

Too bad Zocco's phone and apartment were found to be cesspools. So, let's just pretend they were not, right? Why? Because the filth was possibly uncovered using a method equivalent to not having perfect manners (or something like that). Another load of crap imo.

As to the additional time: apparently the prosecution surprised the defense with an expert's report regarding the computer. Now the defense wants additional time to get their own expert to review same.

BBM So here we go. Wouldn't it be just great if the pedophile gets off scot free on some kind of freak technicality? Insert slow sarcastic clap here.

From article:
The forensic report on Zocco’s computer came in to the prosecutor in late February, 2014. After its release, FOX6 News learned Zocco’s attorney planned to ask for time to have the defense’s own expert look at the report and the computer.
Zocco is out on bail, working out of his parent’s Richfield home.
Coming up in April 2014, Zocco’s lawyers were expected to file motions to suppress information police discovered in several search warrants. Now, the motions filings are being delayed as Zocco’s computer expert looks at what the prosecutor’s expert found on his computer

So, Zocco's team wanted time to verify the slew of child *advertiser censored* on his computer, obvy they found it, and now want to try and suppress any mention of the heaps of child *advertiser censored* found on his computer.

Excerpt: John Van Leur is Dwyer’s uncle. He hopes more information will come forward to find Kelly. He is concerned that in the future, evidence might be thrown out if Zocco’s lawyers show there was not sufficient reason to search his apartment in October.

Kelly's family is now dealing with the possibility that evidence found on the computer may be thrown out. That really sucks.

Soooo... KZ is found with all sorts of child *advertiser censored* on his computer... And defense lawyers are trying to suppress it due to the evidence was acquired by LE (in defense claim)in a not legal way...(my own words)....

:banghead:

I hope the judge is fair...

:judge:

Right, the number one rule of investigating suspects is when uncovering unanticpated evidence of activities that are illegal, investigators must have done so legally. Investigators aren't allowed 'bonus captures' or allowed to uncover other crimes while in the process of looking for evidence supporting the current crime in question.
Major rule ~ nothing illegal may be discovered by accident because it is illegal to discover crimes via this method. If and when this happens, the perp gets an out of jail for free card.

Conclusion - if LE is looking through a suspect's living quarters for evidence that a missing woman may have met foul play there, LE must leave all child *advertiser censored* on the shelf. LE should have closed their eyes real fast before they could see what they were looking at. :banghead:

I know I'm sounding flip, but this is how defense tactics appear sometimes imo. In Kelli's case, LE didn't knock randomly on KZ door and announce a search for no good reason. LE should be allowed to find whatever they find imo. Discovering crimes and criminals is a good thing, right?

Defense lawyers should defend people but not cheat around the crime if that makes any sense. Those are slimebally tactics imo.

On March 19th, Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn updated Fox News on Kelly Dwyer's case.

Flynn advised that LE would be re-interviewing neighbors and community members. LE will be "re-canvassing" and may be knocking on doors all month long beginning March 19.

No newer articles found since the little attention given Kelly's case last week.

Thanks for the updates, Woe.

It just makes me so angry to think about KZ's lawyer pushing to get his buckets of child *advertiser censored* suppressed. Get him off at all costs, right? Way to go, lawyer, it's all about chalking up a win! How about you move next door to him with your young children if you get him off?

Sometimes it seems like the criminals have all the rights and the victims have none.
