Thought he was on GPS tracking, as well.

I believe that condition was dropped. Even if it hadn't, he could cut it off and run.

He could leave the country by any number of means without a passport or acquire a forged one. He and his family apparently have money and that can get you a long way if you have the will to run.

I don't mean to answer for mke2013, but I will. Why the retort " don't count on it " to the statement that if KZ runs, it won't be for long? mke2013 in post #309 called KZ brilliant.

If I remember correctly, it was stated that a tracking device couldn't be acquired at the time his bail conditions were set .

I think we can all agree that KZ is an intelligent guy. I was really hoping to get an answer from mke.

O/T but relates somewhat. :blushing:

I taught at a school in, should I say, a bad part of town. For instance, a few of our students wanted ice cream after school from the ice cream man and one of the students (gang member) shot him...Didn't kill him but...anyways one of the students confided in me that he was able to beat the system. One time he slid off his ankle monitor and somehow (I did not ask how.) put it on his 18 month old relative so he could go out. He obtained the bling by threatening to stab someone. Just a note...I am now retired. :D

glad you made it to retirement.

Jmo but in not underestimating Zocco I would find there to be several possible ways in which he *could possibly* be successful in taking flight.. a) as has already been mentioned it appears as tho he is intelligent and very capable of living a "cover"(meaning appearing to be your typical, successful man, but in reality atleast for some duration of time being a fairly regular cocaine user, along with appearing to be quite into child *advertiser censored*).. IMO his being quite successful in living a "cover" would only be very beneficial to him in a situation such as going on the run.. b) off the top of my head another would be that his family does appear to be quite financially secure..this being of huge importance and of major benefit to someone who made a decision to go on the run from such a situation as Zocco presently is in..

Again that's just off the top of my head from someone who does not at all "know" Zocco personally, and admittedly has very limited knowledge of who he is..but just from the tiny modicum of info that is known I, too can see that there would be possibilities at play here that *could* make "going on the run" an actual possibility in this particular case, with this particular individual..(**and to be clear I am not even saying that I personally believe he would/would not be a flight risk.. I honestly have no opinion either way as I just don't know near enough to even hazard a guess)

All jmo, tho..

Do you think this will make KZ more of a flight risk?
Curious why would you ask this question of someone that does not know KZ personally, as you do. This may be a question we would ask of you. Appreciate your input, but curious nonetheless.

Depends on if he has connections to an ulterior world or to some kind of secret society (for lack of a better description) with abilities to help him escape and stay hidden.

I may be wrong, but it seems he's remained in close proximity to his mother his whole life. If he runs, he'll have to leave her behind and she'll be monitored until he is caught. Therefore, her freedom is at stake as well.

How's my answer?
I believe it would be hard for him to escape and remain independent of other people.
Even though he's been described as guarded, he doesn't strike me as a loner.

Oh My!

I am catching up on this thread!

Just found out there was "potential evidence" found in the landfill (per article above)...

I am so curious to find out what this evidence is?

I wonder if KZ is shaking in his boots about now?

JMO

More thoughts on potential evidence found ~

Potential ="having or showing the capacity to become or develop into something in the future."

Only KZ knows what "potential" evidence may mean. If he knows something belonging to Kelli was put in the garbage (that he figured they'd never look for or find) he may be very concerned. Especially if they found her phone or purse as those items could still have his prints on them if he held them.

I am curious about this as well.

Oh my gosh, Plumeria, how frightening!

I :blowkiss: our teachers!

I am interested in your take on this...

what is it about Kris Zocco that LE and we shouldn't "underestimate?

TIA...:seeya:

KZ is determined and smart. He also has an attitude about cops...he doesn't respect or like them very much (in general). IF he did decide to run, I could see him being successful at it to some degree. He might give it a shot if he thinks he'll be spending the rest of his life in prison. Why not? At the same time, I have a feeling he thinks he can be exonerated of all charges (they will point to lack of evidence...that would be a term he would like). If that is indeed his feeling, he won't run.

He does love and respect his mother very much but they have lived in different states for most of his adult life. He didn't move to Milwaukee until 2010. I also think that he is ashamed that she knows about his double life. Kris responds to that by essentially "running away" from the awkward and painful feelings. It would be a coping mechanism. But again, I'm not saying it's highly probable he'll run, just a possibility.

Exonerated? I'm not sure that's in the cards on the CP charges. I'm not a lawyer but I don't see what a possible defense may be to possession when he clearly was in possession. Can anyone here enlighten me?

Also, with respect to sentencing on the CP, is it within the judge's discretion that the time served for each count be concurrent rather than consecutive? If so, I wonder if the DA may try to strike a deal with him. Cop to Kelly's demise on a manslaughter charge (thus giving her family some closure) and all time is served concurrently (both CP and manslaughter), giving him have a chance of getting out of prison alive, otherwise be sent away forever on consecutive CP sentences.
