Circumstances of Disappearance:
Kerry was last seen at her residence in the vicinity of the 200 block of N. Perkins Blvd. in Burlington, Wisconsin on December 6, 1989. Her husband stated she was intending to travel to a trade show in Wyoming and left their residence at approximately 4:30 a.m. She was allegedly driving to Chicago, Illinois with another co-worker to catch a flight to Wyoming at that time. She has never been seen or heard from since.

A neighbor told authorities that she saw an unidentified black car with a man behind the wheel, parked outside the Kruegers' home around 4:30 a.m. The neighbor went back to bed and did not witness anyone enter the car.

Later that morning, a fellow employee of Kerry's called her husband and inquired as to her whereabouts since she had not showed up at work that day. It was discovered that her workplace did not have any employees scheduled to attend out-of-town trade shows and the Wyoming trip did not exist. Investigators believe that either Kerry or her husband lied about the supposed Wyoming trade show which led to her disappearance. It is unknown if Kerry left on her own accord or if she met with foul play.

At the time of her disappearance, the Krueger's marriage was troubled and Kerry was considering divorce. Kerry's husband was a person of interest in her disappearance, but he has never been charged in connection with his wife's case and no arrests have been made. Her whereabouts remain unknown.

Kerry Aileen O’Brien-Krueger

Updated: Oct 28, 2022

Kerry Aileen O’Brien-Krueger was last seen at her residence on December 6th, 1989 in the vicinity of the 200 block of North Perkins Boulevard in Burlington, Wisconsin where she lived with her husband and her young daughter.

Kerry is a white woman, 5’4”, and 125 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. Kerry’s ears are pierced. She also has a small chicken pox scar between her eyebrows, freckles, and a mole on the back of her left shoulder.

Prior to her disappearance, Kerry was employed in the Public Relations department of Gander Mountain near Wilmot, Wisconsin.

According to her husband Tracey, Kerry approached him on December 5th and said that she needed to travel to Wyoming for a trade show the following morning. Kerry said she was replacing a co-worker who could not make the trip.

Tracey said that Kerry packed a bag that night and left their residence at approximately 4:30 a.m. on December 6th. She was supposedly driving to Chicago, Illinois with another co-worker to then catch a flight to Wyoming. A neighbor indicated that she saw a black unidentified car parked outside the Krueger home around that same time. A man was driving the vehicle, but the neighbor went back to bed and didn’t see anyone enter the vehicle. Kerry said goodbye to Tracey that morning and was never seen or heard from again.

One of Kerry’s co-workers called Tracey later in the morning asking where Kerry was as she had not come in to work that day. Gander Mountain did not have any employees scheduled to attend an out-of-state trade show and the Wyoming trip did not exist. It was unlike Kerry to be a no-show for work and that was out of character for Kerry.

Investigators believe that either Kerry or Tracey lied about the business trip. No one is certain if Kerry left of her own accord or if foul play was involved.

The residence was searched, but no evidence was found in the Krueger household and many of Kerry’s personal belongings were left behind.

Tracey took a polygraph test in January of 1990, but the results were inconclusive. He was scheduled to take another test soon after, but experienced a severe gastrointestinal illness that forced him to cancel. He later suffered a stroke which affected his memory, affecting his memories during his adult life. Due to these conditions, he never took the second test. He has never been charged in connection to his wife’s case and there have been no arrests made.

It has all the appearance of escaping with another man or person... and I think the husband knew and was okay with this... they may have been a couple with an open relationship or she was already drowning in her marriage, maybe the husband She didn't know how to put on her pants as the man of the house and when she found herself free she did what she had perhaps planned for a long time... I don't know if she was dead... I think it couldn't be that she lived somewhere in the United States. or on another continent...
either way...

Call me crazy, but as someone who has had cancer, those symptoms smack of cancer - an aggressive kind. Maybe she was going to a specialist, and didn’t want her husband to know how sick she was. Maybe she was going to someplace she loved to die. You’d think if there was another person for her, the police would have heard about it. It’d be nice to know where she was supposed to fly to, if she had bought tickets.

My father in law never told anyone he was dying of cancer. Neither did my ex brother in law.
