Monday, October 28th:
*Pre Sentencing Hearing-Telephone Conference (@ 11am ET) – WI - Krista Marie Sypher (44) (March 13, 2017, Plover, not found) – *Jason P. Sypher (44) (DH) arrested (8/24/18) & charged (8/27/18) with 1st degree intentional homicide & hiding a corpse. Plead not guilty. $1M cash bond.

Trial began on 10/14/19. Trial ended on 10/23/19 with guilty on both charges.
10/22/19 Day 7: State witnesses: Corey Kitowski (ex-BF). Jesse Luth (Krista's friend). Christopher Lorbecki (Krist'as ex husband). State rests theirs case. Defense witness: Krista's brother (no name given). No information available yet. Trial continues on 10/23.
10/23/19 Day 8: Defense witnesses: Jeremy Symonds (Jason Sypher's brother). Jason will not testify. Defense rests. Closing arguments done. The jury began deliberating just before noon Wednesday & announced they had a verdict shortly after 1:30 p.m. The jury found Sypher guilty of first-degree intentional homicide and also found him guilty of hiding Krista's corpse. Sypher faces a maximum of life in prison. Eagon will decide whether he will be eligible for parole and, if so, at what point in his sentence. Eagon did not schedule a sentencing date on Wednesday. The attorneys plan to meet with the judge Monday (10/28) to determine if a presentence investigation is needed.

Kryshak. Defendant Jason Sypher in custody. Parties state their appearances. Atty Jay informs the court that the victims father would like to make a statement but not be recorded or have photos taken of him. BY THE COURT: Court directs the media not to film or photograph the victim statements. R.K. makes victim impact statement. Atty Jay questions if the letters were received that were submitted by the state. Court indicates he has not. Atty Kryshak indicates he has seen the letters but none of them are from victims. Eligible to petition for Extended Supervision after 30 years. Concurrent with Count 2. Pay costs including $663.00 for fees and travel allowances for the witnesses for the State at the preliminary hearing and trial as outlined by the Clerk of Courts office. Pay $100 domestic abuse surcharge on Count 1. Provide a DNA sample. Pay all other costs and surcharges that are applicable. For a second there I thought he was "just" moved (June, 2020), but the article is from Dec. 5, 2019. So he was moved then, not now...

"Hunters are out there in the woods deeper than most people are," said Marsha Loritz, Founder of Wisconsin Missing Persons Advocacy Inc. "I think a lot of families hold on to hope during hunting season that maybe they can get the answers they have been looking for."

While out in the woods, hunters are encouraged to call 911 and not touch anything if they come across something that seems to be suspicious.

Circumstances of Disappearance - Krista Sypher was last seen at her residence on Hoffman Drive in the Village of Plover 3/13/17 in the morning hours by her husband, Jason Sypher. Jason Sypher reported her missing 3/20/17. Her phone has been inactive since the day she disappeared. She left home without her vehicle.

A jury convicted Jason Sypher in 2018 of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of his missing wife Krista. Her body hasn't been found.

Bumping up for Krista. Her husband was convicted, so if he wishes to be released someday, I can think of some important information he could provide that would show he has actually changed and grown as a person. MOO.
