According to a news release, Lindsay A. Folan was last seen early Thursday morning in the 200 block of Leisure Lane in Rome. The release said she was driving a gray 2015 Toyota Carolla.

The only places in the 200 block of the road on which she was last seen appear to be a bar (Lake Camelot Lodge) and Rome Water Utility. I would be concerned about an auto accident if she were leaving the bar at 1:30 am, especially since there is a body of water so nearby!

Rapid Search and Rescue Corp. and Wisconsin Missing Persons Advocacy posted the following information:

• Lindsay was last seen 12/24 about 1:30 am at Camelot Bar in Rome WI.
• Her cell phone last pinged within a 6 mile radius of 13th Lane and Black Hawk Road in the Wautoma area on 12/24 at 8 p.m.
• Her car has a California license plate - 8MTR636.

I know the Town of Rome police are looking for her, but where does she live? Was she in WI for the holidays? Why does she have CA plates? MOO

In case anyone gets confused -

Camelot Bar address shows it's in Nekoosa, WI. nearest big city is Wisconsin Rapids.

The "Town of Rome" is within Nekoosa, WI. Do not search for "Rome, WI" just by itself as there is another place called Rome near Milwaukee.

I'm not sure what kind of administrative classification that the Town of Rome has. But it is distinct from Rome, WI.

I spent ten minutes all confused so hopefully this helps someone out.

3th Lane and Black Hawk Road in Wautoma looks very rural (I know a large radius is given). The last ping occurred 17,5 hours after her last physical sighting. That's a lot of time. I wonder if there was any activity on her phone during the day on the 24th and where the phone traveled.

Things we don’t know right now, but I suspect LE does:
Was LF inebriated when she left the bar?
Was she in the bar with anyone?
Did she leave the bar with anyone?
Was her phone found in the direction she would have been traveling to where she was staying/lived?
What has been found as far as video surveillance in the area of the bar?
Does her vehicle have GPS?
What activity was on here phone between the time she left the bar and the time it last pinged nearly 18 hours later?

dang, i live not too far away. i'm scared for her. this feels off to me. usually i'd think a person driving home after going to the bar might have been drunk and had an accident, but i'm not getting that feeling here for whatever reason. could be wrong of course.

I see if you you head north on Leisure Lane, there is an ATM right up the street from the bar near the corner of D. I wonder if she might have stopped there and drawn someone’s attention. I’m sure LE has pulled video and LF’s bank records by now.

According to her FB page, as of two years ago, she had a dog. If the dog is still alive today (which it sounds like it is based on a comment on her FB page), then that would also raise concern for me. Most people who love their pets would not willingly walk away from them or leave them unattended for days. I am sadly not getting a good feeling about this MOO.

Hello, I am new to all this, but not the case. I spent almost all daylight hours looking for her vehicle within the 6 mile radius of where her cell phone was last pinged. Checked main roads that would be coming from Camelot bar in Rome first, then distances farther from that if she were heading toward Almond, where her sister posted that she (the sister lives), if LF was heading toward her sister. LF currently lives in CA. Assuming up for the holidays. The timeline of when she was last seen from the time her cell was pinged around 13th lane and Blackhawk road in Wautoma leaves a big gap. The location it pinged is about 1 mile. Not sure if we are looking for a cell phone by itself at this point since we couldn't find the gray 2015 Toyota Corolla with CA plates yet. The general area consists of small bodies of water, hunting land (private & public), and houses here and there. More backroads can be explored within the 6 mile radius from which the cell phone was last pinged. Knowing if she left the bar alone, without being followed, and knowing a clear direction of interest would be helpful.
The sister had posted that Toyota will not currently provide information on the current location of the vehicle, assuming that is an option. Cell phone is dead. Though an app by Google, Find My Phone, can be an option. Assuming that LF had a Google account that the sister would know the username and password.
People mentioned the idea of drones and search parties, not sure if these are being implemented yet. Footage from the bar has, or was, in the process of being collected by police and family.
A search for her vehicle around Wautoma bars last night yielded nothing.
I can keep this group updated as any more information I find is gleaned.
