Great find, I wonder how his first relationship went and why Mildred got divorced from him so quickly.

I wonder why it seems they didn’t search the house. After the husband killed himself I could argue she might be hurt or in danger. And what did the kids think?

And what happened to them? It looks like the stillers had two daughters, and there were kids from previous marriages.

I can answer part of this. Stiller’s children ended up with one of his sisters, Josephine. The kings I cannot say except that the oldest two daughters were adults, the oldest married too. It’s possible she took in her siblings. But I don’t have proof. Some are deceased, but I think some of the kids may be alive. There’s nothing about what they thought or even if they wondered later on.

I know it looks like her husband killed her. But there’s a weird little fact that gives me a gut feeling otherwise. Right after his first wife died, he had an event and ended up in the hospital himself. Big leap here maybe suicide attempt. Now that second wife divorces him, he goes through with it. I don’t know if he killed her or not, but it’s possible her kids might know.
