I hope the deaths of the other children is being looked into. Not accusing anyone of anything but if all is well they can at least check in with authorities.

Based on the fact all the kids seem to have terrible diseases or illnesses, and some have already died, this family seems to adopt children with illnesses and do not get them proper treatment. They just seem to let them live the short rest of their lives without care, then pick up and go to another town (they left Whitewater, and the place before that) when people get suspicious or worried.
