*Sentencing Hearing (@ 2pm ET) - WI - Prince McCree (5) went missing around 1pm on Oct. 25, 2023 & on 10/26/23 found dead in dumpster, the child was found with injuries from blunt force trauma a mile south on the 5500 block of West Vliet Street near Holly Road, Milwaukee. *David E. Pietura (27) arrested (10/26/23), charged (10/30/23) & arraigned (11/17/23) with 1st degree intentional homicide, felony physical abuse of a child, repeated acts causing death, hiding a corpse, as a party to a crime. Plead not guilty. Cash bond $500K. Milwaukee County
Trial was set to begin with jury selection on 6/3/24 but vacated, Pietura plead guilty.

As to County 1: Defendant changed his plea to GUILTY to intentional homicide. Defendant examined as to his plea, advised of his Constitutional rights & the maximum penalty. Defendant advised that if not a U.S. Citizen, that a plea of guilty or no contest to the crime you are charged may result in deportation, exclusion from admission to this country, or the denial of naturalization under federal law is possible. According to prosecutors, Pietura and a then-15-year-old boy lived with 5-year-old Prince McCree’s family. Peitura and the teen beat Prince to death in the home’s basement in October using their fists, a barbell, a concrete birdfeeder and a golf club and then hid the body in a Dumpster, prosecutors allege.
