An Ashland woman is asking for the public's help in finding her husband last seen a week ago.

The Ashland Daily Press reports that Raymond Ocasio, 47, was last seen in Ashland last Monday.

Raymond is said to be driving a Dark Gray Honda Civic with the license plate, ABU 7748.

The Ashland Daily Press reports the case is being investigated as a missing persons matter, and that leads are being followed up on.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ashland Police Department at 715-682-7062.

Human skull found in Bayfield County


A person picking pine boughs in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest on Friday found a human skull, according to the Bayfield County Sheriff's Office.

The skull, found on the eastern side of the Grandview Township in Bayfield County near its border with Ashland County, is believed to have been there for “many months” based on the skeletal condition and the condition of clothing found, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Raymond Luis Ocasio, also known as Raymond "Boom Boom" Ocasio was last seen leaving an address in the city of Ashland, Wisconsin headed in an unknown direction on September 23rd, 2018.

Raymond was driving a gray, 2013 Honda Civic Del Sol with Wisconsin plate ‘ABU7748’, expiring in 2018. There is no known information on his or his vehicle’s whereabouts.

According to cellphone records, both of his cell phones were shut off as of September 23rd and last used in Ashland, WI.

He is considered missing and endangered. Raymond has family ties to Milwaukee. His family has not seen or heard from him since his disappearance. His wife expressed that he was displaying "very concerning behavior" and that it was not like anything that he had done in the past.

It has been determined through the missing persons investigation that Raymond has a history of drug use.

Raymond is a Hispanic male, 5’7”, and 250-300 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Part of his right ear is missing from a previous injury.

He has several tattoos: “Boom Boom” on his front side above the navel area, a heart on the right breast, rose-type design on the left breast, an eagle on his upper right arm, a heart design on his inner left arm, “Puerto Rico” on his right inner arm, “Jasene Si Amor” in the middle of his back, and a cobra design with a Jesus face traced over it on his lower back. Raymond was 47 years old when he went missing. He would be 51 years old today.
