I've been following a few cases on here for a few weeks, but felt compelled to comment on this one.

I grew up in this area, and my mom was one of the volunteers today searching the woods. She gave me a little more insight about the family and things going on today. There was a lot of talk and tears, and this is all word of mouth, so I don't know how accurate it is. People know everyone's business in these little towns though, so I'm guessing there's truth to it. But apparently this isn't the first time this little girl has wandered off...just earlier that evening, she apparently walked down the road to the neighbors and the neighbor lady brought her home. It's not a short distance that she walked either! In the past Reena has also walked into the town, which is a hike! She is also not scared of water, and the dad apparently had to fish her out of the dam before. Makes me sick to my stomach that they didnt supervise this little girl with all that water around.

A family friend that works for the DNR was diving in the water today, so there is active search in the water, as we all read. The are dragging the river. The wooded area around the house is so dense, that there is little doubt she went that route, especially since she normally walked the road when wandering off. The FBI arrived this afternoon too. The community as a whole is really shaken and just want to find this little girl!

HEARTBREAKING. What a sweet, precious child. Fly High Little One. Caylee and Celina are waiting to play with you. :rose::star::angel::star::rose:

Thank you for the update. One article stated she is very tall for her age and looks more like a 5 yr old. If true, her wandering those distances would not surprise me. I'm hoping for the best...she is cute as a button, but not feeling good about this one. I don't know how big the dog is, but if standing at the edge of the river or a bridge, the dog just turning around and bumping her could knock her off balance. imo She should have been found by now. Wonder how long from the time she went missing to the time LE was called?

She was found, sadly, in the canal. :rose:

She was missing 2 hours before they called it in.
Very sad outcome. :(

Oh man. Found 75 feet from her home. Just sick. :(

RIP little angel :rose:

Yes lesson learned, no 3 year old should be watched by the family pet. RIP little one.

Oh no!!! I am sick that things like this keep happening. RIP sweet Reena. Poor baby girl. :(

So there was a canal 25 yards from her home, and she was allowed to play outside, unsupervised? :banghead:

Was the nanny watching Reena or Mom? A three year-old "knows not to"?

Hi Knox,

Good to see you on here ... imo absolutely nobody was watching the 3 year old. Literally makes me sick.

I don't understand why it took close to 24 hours to find her if she was only 75 feet from her house and they had all those searchers.

I just learned of this while watching Jane Valez. The photo shown was of Reena with no top whatsoever on, and wearing mardi gras beads. What are the parents thinking photographing her like that? Shame on them!

Are you kidding me? There is nothing sexual about a three year old without a shirt on. Girl or boy.

Since when does a three yr old know not to wander off or get too close to the edge of a lake? That 'nanny' needs to have her head examined.
