I have called LE to report crimes and I have also been thrown into very heated cases that I played, what I thought, an insignificant role in and a waste of the courts time to call to trial but nonetheless I was called to testify(the Judge had the same thought and scolded the lawyer who had me subpeonaed).
I've been subpoenaed to court 3 times in 2 years and I am currently awaiting another trial to start this month inwhich I recently received a summons to appear

So I would say, thus far I haven't been afraid to report a crime..but with a case such as this I can see how it would make someone think twice before getting involved...

In the past, I would have called LE immediately!
Now my first thought would be of RK's plight.
Would that call be worth destroying the rest of my life for?
Probably not.
