Thanks! This is such a sad case that I'm often thinking about. It seems like there are no real advocates for Kathy's case.....yet she was clearly loved by her family and coworkers. I still believe the man to last see her has the answers to this case.

Police Still Looking One Year Later

One year after she went missing, Sheila "Kathy" Goble's friends and family don't know whether to pray for her safe return or grieve for their loss.

Goble left her job at Kelley's Mens Shop on the West Side of Charleston just after 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2010 -- one year ago Sunday.

Sheriff's Detective B.K. Carper, the lead detective on the case, said police haven't received any new tips or information for "several months."

No one has accessed Goble's bank accounts or credit cards, and no one has heard from her since last April.

"It's aggravating," Carper said.

Goble's family is "still holding out hope that she is out there and she is safe," said family spokesman Billy Herrald. "Nothing has pointed in either direction, so they are still holding out that hope. If she is [alive], they hope she sees any of the articles or newscasts and decides to come home."

Back in August, investigators said they believed someone did something to Goble. Because her car was found in Putnam County, they theorized that it almost had to be "two people -- not absolutely, but it's very likely two people were involved."

At that time, Crosier said, "there are just so many strange things and unanswered questions."

Walker says it's unlikely that Goble left her home without telling anyone.

"She had a life here, a son here and one son in Cincinnati," Walker said. "She had family and friends, and it just doesn't make sense for her to have picked up and left on her own."

Walker says she's been in contact with police recently, but they've had no new information to report.

Do we have any LE on this case? Where is her family, what are they doing? It is like oh well mom is gone, Yawn. I don't believe she left the friends house? I think her car was parked there to throw LE off. Doesn't this town have any camera's. Have they been checked? Don't we have a Sleuthers in this town or near by? Someone needs to contact the news media. Have they given the friend a poly. Have they used dogs? I would hate to disappear in this town, no one seems to care. I have not even heard or searches. I am in California, so there is not much I can do. Also I am a newbee, Not good a sleuthing yet, good a asking questions LOL. I am having company for a few days but when they leave I am going to call around her town and find out what is going on. Has any family been on here?

I agree with you on the possilble misdirection. Too much attention on the car which (an expensive late model car no less) was put where it would be easily and quickly found maybe to distract or misdirect the police. As for the family they are no doubt in pain but as is the case the police probably asked them NOT to talk to the media as they may mess up the investigation or accidently put information out there that the police want to keep close to the vest.

The local newspaper and TV stations have been updating this case here. It's really baffling to think that she was able to go missing and yet there's not been a real break in the case since the discovery of the car almost two years ago. Very bizarre.

Her car was found sitting along Interstate 64 in Putnam County so how did Mr. March get back home?

Why would he harm a co-worker?

*sigh* Rest in peace, Kathy, I'm glad you are found.

Bradshaw said that, on Tuesday, the son was attempting to fill a hole in the yard that kept caving in. He found the corpse after he dug up the hole.

The son had to know his father was questioned about this missing woman so I am kinda interested in why he didnt get concerned about the "hole " before now.

So close to the 2 year mark ,I wonder if the son just couldnt stand questioning the hole so he dug it up.
