I just keep thinking how sad this situation is. Imagine her mom frantic about Gabby, and naturally, probably frantic about Brian…then realising that his family is purposely ignoring her. Now all this. Regardless of what transpired between Gabby and Brian it is all really saddening.

If she has been dead for 2+ weeks than it makes sense why a coroner is going to the scene, the body could be badly decomposed already in order to identify just by looking at it, very sad if it is her

How sad. One horrible outcome seems to have been prevented, anyway, which would be if Brian is dead & died without her family ever knowing where she was.

Looking at the helicopter footage it seems as though the canopy is close by a gravel road so if there's evidence there how did it go unnoticed for so long? The video also shows people on horseback so I might be wrong in thinking that it's a well-trafficked place.

The video from WY shows that the body wasn't concealed in deep forest or brush. Out in the open, more or less, with what look like aspen stands around the tented area.

You can see this same grove of trees in the background of the official Spread Creek camp photos - the area where the van was seen is not too far away (along the road, in mixed conifer forest - not right next to the campground, <modsnip - not identified yet>).
