I hope the restaurant has cameras. Seeing footage would be good to have it confirmed it really was them.

Even if they do have cameras, it's probably too late. Most footage gets written over after a couple days to a week...IMO

I got a question that might answer a few things. Are Gabbys sandals in the van? My guess is he took those from the scene and didn’t want them back in the van in case they had blood on them etc. Where are those sandals? If they were on gabby then we know she passed after that van sighting. If not, where are they and they were hid or disposed prior to return home

when I compared the sandals to the size of the ladder...they appeared to be large.... any thoughts on those being BL

Yes I definitely believe a new show featuring them is coming up. John was very passionate and angry talking about it. I saw both of his interviews today on Fox and CNN.

Do we know when or by whom he was officially pronounced "missing"? The FBI or the parents or other? I have not read all the threads here (has anyone read them all?!), so I guess missed that info along with whatever else... TIA.

The only thing I know is that BL'S family called LE and wanted to talk to them. They reported he had left and had not come back. Apparently it had been 3 or 4 days since they'd seen him. I don't know if that's considered official. I'm assuming that's when FBI took the lead.

I don't believe this killing was planned, I don't think this guy thinks like most people in the first place, and I think there was a great deal of panic after the fact.

Literally nothing would surprise me, and I doubt he knew what to do next.

I tend to believe he decided to leave her body with the van and take off, but ultimately backtracked.

I don't think the usual rules apply in regards to normal criminal behavior here. He's an odd bird.

The rules that do apply here in regards to criminal behavior is that he has probably killed Gabby in a violent manner, dumped her on the side of a road and left her there, and has so far not given any details of what happened. He’s not odd, he’s just an everyday loser and killer who went on a trip with his girlfriend and expected her to coddle him the way his parents have. Gabby, on the other hand, was an ambitious young lady who was working and documenting their trip so she could show the world her artistic skills. His only ambition these days is trying to figure out how long Mama’s apron strings are.

He probably went in the reserve Tuesday night. Put his cell phone 5 miles into the reserve in a tree and left. His parents during their camping trip got him a burner phone. So LE could be tracking his phone pings and he isn’t even there but his phone is while he’s in Mexico. Hasn’t been charged so he’s technically a free man and laughing at LE basically looking for a phone in a tree with no person to find

I think the FBI could figure that ruse out real fast!

The article doesn't infer the merry piglet couple was at spread creek. There are two different places, different times of the day. Two sightings from different people referenced in the article quoted.

LE would know if it was in a tree or some other immoveable, surely. Because the phone would be pinging always in the same spot.

I have my doubts about whether he flew home too, but LE has really only released very little information, so I don't think we can take their silence on any given topic as evidence of anything.

I know where was he that week Aug 17 -23..
Just don't buy the storage unit excuse
so she is in the hotel....and he is off doing what?

He reminds me so much of that other killer loser whose mommy was in his corner, Chris Watts. She and his toxic sister are still defending him because he married a bossy woman who deserved to be murdered along with his children and their grandchildren, because, she bossed him.

We don't know that they haven't executed an arrest warrant yet or not. One of our verified attorneys suggested they would likely attain the warrant and seal it from the public.
There is no use for it until they find him. Which I really hope they do.

No, no, no … the Bethune family is on YouTube called “Red, White and Bethune” …… Jessica Schultz aka Jessica Over Yonder is the single girl with a dog who also spotted the van ….. I’ve tried to clear all this up in several posts earlier this evening
