Yikes, I am thinking his artistic side is going to translate into an ability to more greatly alter his appearance.

Not only is he not afraid of dye, but artistry in other areas can also translate to better quality dye applied that is applied with better skills. There is also the possibility of make up. Nothing elaborate, but I think his drawing skills would enable to him deepen the shadow portions of his face to look older, or perhaps more gaunt.
If he shaves his face and let’s some head hair come in he could look totally different.

Yes, we certainly can't rule that out. I don't know if he's follicly challenged now or just chooses to shave his head, but with dye and/or wigs, and glasses, he could radically alter his appearance.

His height may go against him because I know here in the UK, 5ft 8 is considered very small for a man. Not sure how that height compares to average heights in the US?

've been watching N960AC.... anyone know more about this one?

Uh.. i got confused before, the one from before was FOX thanks to the poster who corrected me, the one we were speaking about way way way back in the first pages of this thread was WFLA

it might be the same one ill have to check hold on .. WFLA was flying under N129TV so nope its different not sure who that is N960AC

I think if that were true, and her parents were worried, her parents would have looked at their bank statements and saw weird charges outside of the West, where she was supposed to be located, during days she was incommunicado. I think Gabby had her own account.

Right...but we don't know who knew what or when. But the FBI and federal prosecutors know and the grand jury. I imagine we will eventually hear more details about which bank accounts/debit cards BL was using during that time period after he took GP's van and other belongings and left. MOO

Not with the manner of death already determined. There's obviously signs on the body that points to homicide.
Agreed. I imagine they are waiting on toxicology to add an additional contributing factors to her death, if any. i.e. Did she have any sedatives in her bloodstream at time of death? If so, it would be a good case for premeditation.

This is not my theory, just an example to provide clarity for why they may be waiting to release CoD.

Toxicology and blood work is standard procedure. They will want to get the full picture of what may have happened.

For example a person may have fallen to their death and died of a traumatic brain injury, but if they were drunk or drugged that might put a different spin on things.

I was watching a panel last night with a medical examiner and they said they never stop partway through an autopsy, even if the cause of death looks very obvious from the beginning.

I hope the BL is found today!
LE must have a very good reason to keep searching in the reserve.
They are tearing it up with their heavy duty vehicles.
Some environmentalists are beginning to get upset to think this may all be for nothing.
How ironic that BL would hate what is being done to the park and it's being done only because of him.

I wonder how many threatened and endangered species in the reserve are being trashed... Maybe the EPA should step in and take control of the activities in the reserve.

Great points. So BL shows up September 1 at his parents house. He tells them what happened. They retain attorney. Attorney tells them with no body there can be no conviction. Attorney tells them to stay quiet and say nothing. Family clandestinely sends him to undisclosed location. Family throws search off by suggesting he went to nature preserve.

It certainly is a possibility. The one point I have trouble fitting in this logical scenario is BL. He just seems like a young, unsophisticated idiot to me more than a cunning psychopath.

The family also does not have a lot of wealth (or so it appears). But they are adults and if they sent him into hiding, they know it can't last forever. BL will eventually be located. They can't fund an entire life for him in hiding.

Who knows...

i do wonder, extremely hypothetically and MOO if there was another woman. His parents think he did something and tell him to leave. Other woman picks him up at the reserve and helps him hide. Of course his lies to the other woman will only work for so long. He just seems like one of those people that always needs an SO or parent to tell him what to do even tho he takes credit.

I just read this morning that a second person picked up BL hitchhiking and drove him to the campground.
Brian Laundrie manhunt: Woman in Wyoming says she picked him up hitchhiking

What if he was telling the truth to the people he hitchhiked with between Coulter Bay and the campground entrance?

I read the account, by a woman driving alone who said she decided to pick up Landrie while he was hitchhiking. I have doubts about her story, because I can not imagine, in this day and age, why a woman alone would pick up a man hitchiking. What do others think? Is this woman telling the truth. Below are excerps from the article:

"Jalovec described having the same small talk with Laundrie that Baker reported in her TikTok. He told her that he spent time hiking near Snake River and that he had a fiancée. He told her he had seen elk and moose but no bison, and when he asked her if she needed any gas money, she said no.

The 23-year-old asked Jalovec to drop him off at the gate of the remote campground, which has a single dirt road that extends miles to various camping sites in the area; at 6:30 p.m. MT in August, there would have still been some daylight to see into the camping area. Jalovec responded saying she could drive him inside, which is when he tried to "get out of the moving car," she said.

"I can't explain why I was there," Jalovec said of her decision to go to the church in Grand Teton that day and pick up a hitchhiker. "It was something I don't typically do. I don't pick up hitchhikers in Florida. I've gotten so much s--- from family and friends for picking up a hitchhiker."

Not releasing cause of death to the public also helps with corroborating a truthful confession and helps reduce using coerced confession as a defence.
