moo..

I am obviously not referring to all suicides, please do not misconstrue my words. I am talking about two alleged DV killers, BL and FD, being cowards which MOO they are. They did not have the courage to stick around and see what justice looked like for their alleged victims. Had BL/FD avoided justice in any other way like hiding in mountains or fleeing the country I would describe their actions the same way, a cowardly way out.

As for the temper:
Brian Laundrie’s former co-worker remembers him as ‘chameleon’ and ‘weirdo’ who sometimes lost temper

Thank you for that article.

I had not heretofore seen it and the information about Gabby in it is heartbreaking.

Brian Laundrie's parents 'may have already spilled the secrets of Gabby Petito's murder to the FBI' | Daily Mail Online

“Former FBI agent Stuart Kaplan told DailyMail.com: 'I do believe that there was some sort of agreement where they accepted immunity in exchange for their full cooperation”. The article goes on to explain a bit more and rehash the past info on the case.

I did not bold the above, it was bolded by news. Article is interesting. May have some merit. Yes, I know it’s from DM. Still I can see the Laundries reaching a deal if they had held back info or gave false info. Everything is strange about this case. That’s why the media and public are so interested in it. All the strange happenings. Moo

Their silence saids a lot even if their attorney is trying to take the blame for them not making any statements. To not even give their sympathies way in the beginning when Gabby was missing…..saids a lot to me. JMOO

and we wait….for DNA results, is it or is it not BL?
lavender bolding mine.
Thanks for the link !
Immunity ... Hmmm...
I'm guessing full immunity for some cooperation ?

Understandable if LE wanted information in exchange for Brian's remains.
Still regrettable.
Imo.

Thank you for the link. Then what about the testimonies stating he is a nice guy etc?
Friends of Brian Laundrie and Gabby Petito speak publicly about their relationship: 'They seem to be pretty in love'

It seems as people's testimonies changed after her body was found which is understandable! Rose also said Brian was her FRieNd at first then after she changed it to he is a horrible person.

Does anyone have a link to the timeline thread? I'm trying to put some thoughts together and I keep messing up the dates. Thanks!

Does anyone know if it's likely that if someone or something died within weeks or even a couple months that the decomposition would lead to just 'bones' at this point in time? Seems too quickly to me. I used to hike a lot and came across many many animal remains and the only ones I found that were 'bones' only had clearly been there for a very long time because they were sun-bleached and it was just visually obvious around them that they had been there for quite some time. MOST of the animal remains I have found still had fur, dried blood, flies, etc on them even though it was obvious they still weren't there anytime extremely recently.

This is a good article that (I believe) was written by the reporter who followed them around and filmed them. It explains that they had only a bag of water bottles and were trailed by law enforcement the whole time. The Ls did not plant the evidence found yesterday. IMO
I understand with the timing why people find them suspicious but IMO this article confirms my belief that RL and CL simply aren't slick enough to trick LE and the press following them

Thank you. I have been peripherally involved in many cases of suicide (due to the nature of my occupation) and would refer to none of these victims as "cowards". It's highly offensive and suggests a general lack of insight, not to mention severe lack of compassion, to refer to them as such. IMO
I just see it as a personal choice. It is sad for their loved ones, but a relief to them. No more pain/anguish. The end. jmo

this is a question for Ten of Rods, wherever they may be

From your link…

"Chris confirmed with me just this morning that when him and Roberta looked, I believe it was on the 14th (of September), the whole area was waist deep or higher in water," Bertolino said. "The FBI confirmed that yesterday that that area until recently had been flooded with water. When that water receded, obviously more things were accessible."

One thing I am not understanding is this trail was one he liked, but they say it was under water when searching. We have had a really wet summer in Florida…bad, bad storms daily. Why would BL have gone to this area as I am sure it was a wet mess then.

Theories.. as it seems literally anything could happen in this case.

A) The Ls knew BL’s location due to a tracking device, and now want to lay him to rest, calling off the search triggered them into heading back in to facilitate this.

B) it’s not BL, the other evidence found was to lead LE to think it is him.

C) The L’s murdered BL when they collected the Mustang, and waited until now to make cause of death very unlikely. Conveniently there’s a note in the notebook saying suicide…

JMO!

I really want to believe they had no clue until they started receiving phone calls, the fact that there were two reports in the NPPD records for 9/10 (albeit heavily redacted) makes me wonder if there wasn't some kind of disagreement on what to do moving forward.

However, there are just so many unanswered questions, that may always be unanswered, that do cast a little bit of doubt there. I have said before, if they truly had no clue prior to receiving the calls and their behaviors/actions/lack thereof up to this point are simply them following their lawyer's advice because that's all they could do, it does make me incredibly sad for them. Unless BL came right out and told them exactly what happened to GP, I can only imagine they've been holding onto the hope that something would come to light to clear their child.

Even with the doubts, though, I always go back to: If you honestly knew nothing, did nothing, and were completely innocent, why wouldn't you volunteer everything you knew? Would you not want to get your name off the potential list of suspects ASAP not only for yourself but so LE could focus on finding the actual person responsible?
The other thing is that we don't have the faintest idea about the nature of their relationship with their son. I think it's unrealistic to view them as little-house-on-the-prairie like.
We simply do not know enough. Every human is different.

I just did, 13th and 14th, how come he didn't correct that earlier if he knew the correct date. Only after the mustang movement was sleuthed did he change what he had previously said.
They were in contact with FBI the whole time. The mustang news came out because the FOIA for the notice was approved and the notice was publicized, then people questioned the date. The laundries and attorney had no reason to correct publicly or speak to media. The FBI knew the whole time the correct date nor will they announce to media for correction. FBI and Laundries don't owe the public/media anything

Upthread/past thread, there is a quote from someone (I forget source, unfortunately), saying that a body can fully skeletonize in as little as 3 (IIRC) weeks.
