I didn’t research this, but it’s likely the whole name is correct as referring to one place. It can be both names and be the same place. Like streets often go by 2 names, a route number and a street name. MOO
Could it be that he was found at the border between the 2? That’s where they said that bridge was. JMO.

I don't know your laws in the US but in France if we are driving a car we are required to have our licence and the insurance documents and registration documents available to hand to a police officer. I've lived in the UK and the police there will give you a "producer" where you take the documents to the local police station, but in France we need to have our licence to drive a car. So would BL taking the mustang be required to have his driving licence on him?

We have the same law in the US re identification, but we also have laws against murder, so I don’t think BL was too concerned about not having his license with him. Imo

i'm guessing now that brians remains location is marked that some type of memorial will happen at that location now that the park is open. might even become a tourist stop of sorts. companies could sell charter day trips out of orlando or tampa. i wonder how much more crazy this case will become as i don't see it just dropping off radar. MOO.
I don't know about a marker or memorial but I noticed while scrolling through youtube yesterday that some people have already been investigating orange paint markings in the area.

This is sounding like SB knows there could be charges brought against his clients ?
Hmmm ...
Gabby's case is far from being 'over'.
Imo.

Who knows? Lots of twists and turns in this case. We still don't know BL's cause of death. We can assume he died by his own hands, animal attack, or starvation/thirst...but I
want to know, maybe it was homicide? Could be reaching but it's possible, right?
He was hiking/camping and someone killed him? Sounds crazy, I might be reaching here.
What if died at a different location and was dumped there. I'd like to know.

Yes, and he revealed how he got busted in last night's Banfield interview IMOO.
MOO, it appears that it was only after they got busted by news video that the Mustang pick up could not have occurred Thursday because it was gone on Tuesday and back in the driveway on Wednesday that they changed the date. (Time 18:54). To me this whole sequence requires scrutiny. Because from where I sit now and what I am hearing with his shifting narratives, it seems to me (MOO) that they had no intention to report BL missing at the time he went missing, and if SB casually mentioned it to the FBI without officially reporting it, he did so only to cover himself. MOO

That's my guess too. The initial contact with FBI about BL still being on his hike was a hedge, not a plea to find a missing son.
Regarding the media footage of the mustang, it's another example in this case of how it has been people outside of LE that have produced every major discovery.

SB keeps trumpeting that the whole area in question was under water 5weeks ago, so how did Brian wind up there? Wade in? And if parents had a good idea of where he would be, then how did they not find him in their 4 hour hunt for him? jmo
That’s exactly what I said yesterday. Like when exactly did they area for underwater after BL went in there & the parents went out looking? He had to get in there somehow…JMO.

Imo that was the screaming, neon sign takeaway from all of sb's interviews, and I think it was a slip up.

The parents and SB were NOT going to file a missing persons report.

"Why not?"

Imo
But, I think the parents relented and agreed so that resources could come together to look for him. NPPD maybe talked them into it. jmo

North Port Police today talked to me today about the cameras. They say there are other cameras that went up sooner -- before Brian disappeared."

In the video below this comment Brian Entin says that there was a camera hidden in a trash can on the Laundrie's street and it had been in place BEFORE BL disappeared. That camera should have captured BL leaving in the Mustang. Which begs the question, if that camera was in place "before Brian disappeared" and they were live streaming back to NPPD, why didn't NPPD know that BL had left the house and not come back and why were they wasting time chasing ghosts in Tampa? Because we have NPPD claiming they didn't know he was missing until the Friday after he was missing. How did the trash can camera miss a whole car coming out of the subject's parent's driveway? We have SB saying he called the FBI the day he was missing to report that BL was missing and NPPD claiming they didn't know BL was missing until Friday. So...it sounds like the FBI was not communicating with the NPPD and whoever was watching the NPPD livestream was not paying attention. What a mess!
Only if you get on his crazy train.
I refuse to board.

I just remember when the reporters turned up at the house in force it was sunny and then there were a couple of days of absolute downpours - I'm not absolutely sure about the trails in the park though. BE did say that they went to the park at one point and it was wet, but that was after the missing persons report was filed imo

That is the disconcerting part of the story. As someone else mentioned earlier, it makes me wonder if this kind of behavior was normal for BL. Maybe going off to hike for a few days was BL's normal method of coping with mental struggles. After all, it's been argued many times that this is exactly what he did after he killed GP. So yes, I think they were worried about him enough to go looking, but not so worried as to file an official missing persons report...because it was normal, albeit concerning behavior for a troubled BL. jmo.
Well by the time on Friday that they were still not planning to file that report he had been gone 5 days, the world headlines were screaming "missing woman" and " boyfriend drives van back without her. "

Imo

So depending on the time of day BL went to the park they could've installed the camera later and that's why they missed him moo

ETA They originally thought he left for the park on 14th, so maybe this is how they worked out that he didn't go on 14th because the mustang wasn't there. So it was another piece of evidence to get the parents and SB to admit to the date change of the 13th?
But why didn’t the press notice him leave?
No one saw the mustang leave!

After he explained that he can't discuss Gabby's case because he couldn't discuss Gabby's case (that was literally his explanation for skipping all things relevant to Gabby), I realized it helps a lot if you stop expecting anything straight-forward, accurate or logical from him.

He entered MYA but was found just inside Carlton. jmo

SB said it wasn't the parents, instead some other Laundrie family household member. But you might be right, I don't know who signed it or who is on record for filing it. There has to be someone on the dotted line.

Wouldn't one assume with a high-profile missing person case, that the LE/FBI would get permission to install cameras and bugs (listening devices) around and in the POI house?

So I thought when I read that the Laundries had sat in an LE SUV in the driveway for a time as their house was being searched and various equipment set up.

The popular opinion however was that any placement of listening or recording devices would have been illegal (eta: and or against their rights) *insert shrug emoji here :)

Over the top, watching an animal program and I never heard of an allagotor snapping turtle. It weighs 98 pounds and lives in the south! His head and snap is another creature to beware of. Wonder if these live in reserve or swamp.
I’ve seen these animals mentioned in another murder case years ago, clothing was removed because of the way they bit the body. They do certainly feed on dead bodies from what I saw on the documentary. MOO

My own personal belief is that he is using this spin to excuse the NPPD for not filing a missing person report from NS. She had to go through Suffolk county, NY, normally it would be taken by the PD of the residence, not that of the person filing. NPPD probably were thinking “van life” and “22 year old with boyfriend traipsing across country” and decided it was most likely not worth taking a report. When Suffolk county took it they probably had to fudge a little about GP’s residence. NPPD did not get involved without being pushed by Suffolk. I think JT is trying to gloss over that.

Thanks. That really helps. I wasn't here in the early period.
