You Know You're Addicted to the Case When:

If you see on Mark H's MS page that he is expecting a baby boy.. or that

on Mar 24, 2008 9:07 PM Casey posted "congrats on the win. glad you're doing well, hun.
i'm good. just considering a lot of changes." on his MS comments

and on Jul 5, 2008 10:09 AM
She wrote, "ha. you son of a XXXXX i XXXXXXX love you mark. i'll call you later. my boyfriend is coming back home today!!!! you have NOOOOO idea how happy i am
:)
miss you hunny." (censoring mine)

So, after seeing all that you think, "Hmm wonder if that's all been posted on WS?" And then you think "I'm sure it has" .00001 second later!

I actually used "gone to he*ll in a handbasket" and people looked at me kinda strange. I couldn't for the life of me figure out where it came from inside me...it's not like I go around using THAT expression all the time.. then I assumed it had to have come from somewhere here 'cause I haven't been anywhere else in a VERY long time!!

I'm guilty of saying "Second verse, same as the first" lol

When you are staying in a hotel and spend an extra $50/nite for a hotel with WIFI. :silenced:

When you call to make reservations for said hotel and the only amenity you ask about is WIFI.

When you have worn out 3 lap desks since last July.:banghead:

When dh comes home from work and asks how is everything in your world today, pointing at LapTop comp. :o

When dh buys you a new lap desk with a built in fan for VALENTINES DAY! and knows better than to ask if you want to go out to dinner!!

He's a keeper, isn't he?

When my daughter calls me every night at 8:00 p.m. EST so my grand daughter can say nite-nite. And I'm trying to watch Nancy! So I have to watch it again at 10:00 so I can see the few minutes I missed.

I saw a picture of Caylee on TV this morning, and said, "don't worry Sweet Pea, we will get justice for you". I call my own grand daughter Sweet Pea.

You find out your parents are going on vacation to Orlando, and the only thing you want them to do is leave a baby doll at the site where the baby was found. Which my parents did do for me :o They also video taped how long it took in a car from the scene to the Anthony house. My mother said it was disgusting!!!!!!!! (to know that she was so close all that time)

Aww, what team players they are! :)

O/T, but I haven't personally driven from the A's to the crime scene, but I have read numerous times that it is shockingly close. That is one of the most disturbing things about this case to me...

1. Your 3 year old sees a picture of Caylee on the cover of People in the grocery store and says, "Hey Mom look! It's Caylee Anthony!"
2. You are getting your 3 year old ready for bed and she says, "Mom, is it Nancy Grace time yet?"

OMG!! I was just coming on here to note that last night when my mom came over at 8PM my 3 year old announced it was time for "Nancy Grace states her case!" and how we had to have a long discussion that I was not looking forward to after he told my mother "Nana! That is mom's friend Casey!"

Also, another indication that I am addicted is that every morning I have to delete at least 80 text messages back and forth because I usually watch NG with my mother, my mothers boss and my best friend...via text message.

Y'all need a chatroom! :)

When you find yourself stating that anything and everthing you know about anything and everything you've known "SINCE DAY ONE".

When you look at your computer's clock one minute and it reads 9:00 pm...and the next time you look it reads 3:00 am...(Huh? What happened in-between times?)

When you work late, then the first opportunity to see NG doesn't come till 9:00 but the season finale of Top Chef ALSO comes on at 9:00 pm and you are ACTUALLY torn as to which to watch...

...when you're speaking about the case, you speak in acronyms.

You know you're addicted when you post and HOURS pass without another person posting, yet, you stubbornly stay signed on, less you miss something....

that funny, my grandson can see picture of Caylee before i do.
he calls caylee mom a bad mom.

When your 16 year old son asks you to please, please, please not watch Nancy Grace tonight when his girlfriend comes over. He states his case - he doesn't want her to think I'm "weird". lol.

When you talk about the Anthony's like you know them personally. Like OMG guess what Cindy did. Or you are not going to believe what Lee said.

I use the abbreviations when I talk to, I'll Say honey do you remember when OCSO said that Lee "knows what he did" do you think that means LE, found something that links him to the site... He's like Huh??????

When someone states something about the case thats not correct and your like, NO, if you look in the FBI supplement report I think page such and such you will see that thats not true.

I'm with you on that Butterfly! And when you know the names all of Casey's friends and what they look like - if you ran into them on the street you would definitely recognize them and probably say Hi!

I know! I was in total astonishment when I went by there and saw how close the crime scene was to their house. Its one thing to envision the just under a 1/2 mile distance, but to actually be there and witness how close it is......is just wild!

When your 12 year old automatically changes the channel without saying a word when it's Nancy Grace Time.

When your 12 year old comes up behind you and screams "BOMBSHELL" thinking he is hilarious because he scared you into spilling your drink.

When you say, "Let's" and your 12 year old finishes the sentence with, "unleash the lawyers."

When your 12 year old explains that his teacher is not giving him credit in his current events class because all he knows about is the Anthony case.

You get mad when you come to the Anthony forum and see someone has violated TOS and you want to report it management only to realize you own the darn forum.

That's it so far. more to come....back to Natisha Lance....

THAT's hilarious. All of them.

Oh jeez... I've done the same thing so many nights here on WS, just in the last month since I joined.

Then I realize it's five in the morning, and everyone else went to bed hours ago.
