You Know You're Addicted to the Case When:

When your son, who goes to college 3,000 miles away calls between 8 and 9 PM and you refuse to answer the phone.

When you call him back at 9:00 and tell him he absolutely cannot call during that time unless he is on life support.

When you realize that you would pay significant money to watch NG cross-examine KC.

Oh man... here's a doozy for ya.

You know you're addicted to the Caylee Anthony case when you receive an email from your sister talking about how she wants to kill her ex (jokingly. mind you)... but then you start to think about computer forensics and the subsequent having to testify against her in court if she actually did.

I told her... "Please don't kill him... I'd really rather not have to testify against you." lol

I can certainly relate to your post. I have 2 daughters away at college and I think they both know to not call me between the same time as you stated.

Then you know how I feel. I found myself having to get tough with him!

I had a rude awakening on Easter when I called my 3 yr old grand daughter "CAYLEE". She said, "Grandma! I'm Sydni, not Caylee!" I was a bit embarrassed. Her b'day is just 10 days before Caylee's and she is very aware that her mother & I keep up on the case. She told everyone at Easter dinner, "Grandma's favorite show is Nancy Grace." My face was many shades of red! Not that I am embarassed about following this case, WS, NG, etc. But, I didn't realize how much she had picked up on my addiction. :o

When you start thinking you want to be the one to talk to Casey, when you start believing that she'll trust you over anyone else, and most of all when you think "if not for the grace of God, I could be her".

ha I was thinking that too and also when you appear on message boards 7 out of 8 hours during work hours

You drive by bushes thinking how in the heck could she have just left her there

you think twice about using duct tape for anything

those black trash bags are now white ones with pink handles lol

you wonder what NG has to say tonight even though you know LP will be on there spewing crap as much as Nancy:bang:

... or you sign on at 8 a.m. and are absolutely furious that there has been no breaking news overnight!

You have to buy a mini notebook to take on vacation to visit your son :blowkiss: in San Francisco so you can keep up with WS and NG.

I'll never live it down if he catches me . . .
:biglaugh:
.

When you have 5-6 threads open, trying to keep up-----T.V. on HLN or NG----on phone with BFF, talkin bout case---and how aggravated you are that your g/d is trying to tell you about her day at work and you tune her out------the dog wants out and this is all happening at the same time-------then "BOMBSHELL"---you look up and your crazy neighbor is walkin across the street.

Thinking about filing a lawsuit against G&C for causing your blood pressure to go so high you have to up your meds.

Way to multi task Mama ^5:blowkiss:

When trying to convince your teenage boys of something...you find yourself using the phrase:

I don't see the relevance.

When you buy three books on Horary astrology just to try to understand those DARNED CHARTS!!!

lol (okay, I'm a knowledge-junkie, I admit it).

Oh jeez... I've done the same thing so many nights here on WS, just in the last month since I joined.

Then I realize it's five in the morning, and everyone else went to bed hours ago.
LOL me too...:)
Or when you stay home on a beautiful Saturday and read this site.

I am not going to do this again today.

You know you're addicted to the Anthony case (and to WebSleuths) when you have a 4 page final case study you need to write and you're still sitting here jawing over this train wreck.

*hides her face in her hands*
