Just a reminder that I don't like it that Juan had to say it - I don't like hearing the words. But, I like that Juan said this to bring the truth to the matter...

Whenever Juan says anything about "...the events of June 4, 2008, when the defendant pause, pause, well, killed him."

I get tired of the DT's effort to call it "Travis died, passed away", or the "event or incident".

"And how do you think Mr Alexander felt as you were sticking the knife into his chest?!"
The words combined with his delivery were spot on!!

I love when Juan brings the truth to the matter, when he asks the killer if she thought how much it hurt Travis when she stuck the knife in his heart.

Including many that have already been mentioned, after he asked ALV if she was done he said "Now answer my question."

A few more:
1. When he dropped the camera and asked if that took 45 seconds
2. Telling RS he could bang on his desk all he wanted, and doing the same louder
3. When he dropped his pen/ it fell over the desk or whatever happened
4. "Uh uh. There's no guessing now"

BBM -- wow, these were just great!

Fav moment ...catching alv at lying on the stand about having testified in criminal court for a male.

"No, that is the correct word, biased ... "

I don't know the exact words, his parting shot to laviolette about her assessment being defective.

"It was a SHACK!" in response to ALV's, "I thought it was a cute little cottage, Mr. Martinez."

It wasn't what he said, but it was the disgust in his voice when he said it.

I have admit that might have been ALV's greatest line, too, despite how much I can't stand her. I laughed so hard at both of them. :floorlaugh:

"Are you finished?"
and
"Ok, can we agree you research thousands of documents and just move on?"

"Are you done? Now answer my question."

Something along the lines of "Travis texted that Jodi was the worst thing that ever happened to him. That was true, wasn't it?"

Can we agree you looked at thousands of documents?
I know YOU read rage into that text.
Pulling out the dictionary on Samuels to define compassionate.
Fracas, pirouette, hindquarters, brazier, tumescent to name a few

AZLawyer said it on another thread and it is my favorite, I lol'ed so hard.

JM - to AVL after rambling on and on. JM standing with his arms crossed, neck and head forward, stern eye to eye contact. So simple, but yet so poignant.

Are you done yet? :great:

Oh - and also - "Who gave YOU the right after you are broken up to peep on Travis's intimate moment?"

I cannot find the clip, but it went something like this. Your left ring finger seems to have its run of bad luck.

*advertiser censored** me like a horny little schoolgirl.

"The reason you missed Lonnie's baptism is because you were having a tootsie pop placed somewhere, right?"

"No," Arias said. "It could be that he's full of crap ... when he says he got near my vaginal area."
"This is the person who lied to him, to (friends), to Detective Flores, and yet you're telling us someone else is full of crap," Martinez asked.
"When it comes to that, yes," she said.

"Cosmetic approach to your pelvic area"

Ma'me I'm not asking you to embellish right now!"

The objection is improper because it matters whether the witness understands the question, not if Willmott understands the question.

I don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but I think Juan's best moment was in the cross of JA, when he plays the interrogation tape where she says that Travis didn't own a gun. She was in full lying mode then, but she told the truth there. And JM says. "the reason you did that is because at that time you didn't know what your defense was going to be, right?"
If you watch that exchange and think about it a bit, that's almost enough to convict her right there. Not convict her legally, of course, but in the sense of realizing that indeed she brought the gun and pre-planned the killing. It's right there.

In the recent hearing where Nurmi was trying to say that Juan Martinez intimidated ALV and Samuels, Juan Martinez said something to the effect of the court is aware of the line of questioning in the sealed hearing regarding ALV, and if ALV was upset by it.....she should have been, considering what was revealed in that hearing.

WOW. Love, love, love him.

I am happy that he took care to bring to the court's attention ALV speaking to Sam that day in court. Although the record is sealed, I can only imagine the passion he had in that hearing. I am sure he had a visceral reaction as we all did to the nerve of ALV approaching the grieving and traumatized Samantha who had to sit there listening to the months of lies and attacks on her brother who had been brutally murdered and was not able to defend himself from the vile she was spewing on Jodi's behalf. Whatever he said to her in there, clearly he AND THE JUDGE did concur, she deserved it!
