I agree with Hagerman on Terry Britt messing with John Walker. I watched Britt's testimony. He was visibly and verbally hostile when the subject of law enforcement came up.

Britt has been in the system long enough to know how it all works. John Walker comes to see him in jail/prison all cocky, so Britt challenged him, if you think you know what happened and have a case, arrest me. It was a sarcastic response from Britt, not a confession. Britt has been in the system long enough to know that, this would be the time to take police to the body (if he indeed knew where it was) so he could remove the DP from the table and get lesser charges and time.

But he didn't know where the body was and that is when he said, I can't give you something I don't know.

Of course he got no immunity re HB, but that's not saying he did such things to her. He was claiming he did nothing to HB while she was alive. So while he was getting immunity for ANY AND ALL drug-related things he had done before, they explicitly made it clear he was getting no immunity for drugs that might have been done to her, if such things were later discovered to have been done.

Was this immunity agreement actually in effect? I thought Shayne had not been charged yet when he died.

I guess they're implying her clothes were burned (maybe along with some other evidence) in the burn barrel. And the coyotes consumed the remains---but whatever happened to the dang blanket? She was taken away in the blanket so it wasn't burned in the barrel and the coyotes didn't eat it so where is it? Why wasn't it found with her remains?

One tag was found in the remains. Like a clothing tag, or I guess could be a blanket tag.

They had a close up of it in the pictures.

Something may have disintegrated in a few years. Seems like something of the blanket would be there if it was there, I agree.

And he just compared the dates when Zach mentioned they had no gun and when they actually found out Holly had been shot! Could that remove reasonable doubt for the jury? It does for me!

I remember in the opening statements I didn't like Hagerman much but now I get his style. Nichols is bad cop he's the unassuming chill guy. I swear even when he sounds like he's getting angry he's still using soft tones.

No? Are you saying the things that he ruled inadmissible and too prejudicial will not come into the sentencing phase if he is convicted?

I beg to differ. Its all going to come gushing in.

I believe whatever was ruled inadmissible will remain so throughout all phases of the trial, including appeals unless ruled at some point to be admissible. Just my opinion from the trials I've watched. Minor or other attnys here can say with legal expertise if this is in fact the fact of the matter.
