The rules for DNA testing in France are very strict, so for the people in the village to voluntarily do DNA testing without a judge...

I’m still unclear if a judge actually ordered all 100 people to submit to DNA testing or if this is a voluntary thing.

I would guess that whether the DNA collected in this case will be added to the database or not depends on how the order for testing was...
