I’ve wondered about that too but I think that if there were two people in the mix and they knew the DNA of one then creating a DNA profile from the remaining DNA would be less complicated. I’m leaning toward it being two or more unknowns.

I do not think it was one perp either but I do think one person using a fireman's carry can carry someone (even someone larger or heavier than they are) a fairly good distance. It's more about the technique than strength.
