I don't think he had been unemployed at all. In some of the photos we've seen, there was a company truck in the drivway. I doubt electricians get a company car on their first day of work. I think the reports of it being his "first day on the job" meant that is was his first day on that...

Maybe it was most of her body, minus the parts that were left at Christie...the prosthetic, the bone they found last week, and maybe now they know what other bones to go look for over there, and that is why they are back over there now? Okay...that was one huge run on sentence...but you know...

Wouldn't it be amazing if, after all this, they found her in mostly one piece?

My guess is that they found what they think are Zahra's remains yesterday and told ED to hop on a flight to NC. They will probably realease the info to the media after ED has arrived and spoken with LE.
