this is really sad.....this guy worked in the same type of business as my husband and we knew him from one of our vendors where he previously worked. Just goes to show you never really know people even if you deal with them on a regular basis.

Yes I am as I told you I saw no bashing and the post stands so lay off it.

Yes I think in that situation I would also have them talk to Tricia before they post unverifiable "inside" info.

You read it differently than I do and that is fine, however my decision stands. Tricia said it wasn't foolproof, however she is being allowed to post as someone who knows people involved in this case. You really need to move on from this particular argument now.

she was posting her personal opinion, and apparently what some in the community believe. Tricia has verified her so I will allow her post to stand based on it being her opinion and what she has heard from people there.

I didnt see anyone accusing mom of anything. I saw someone who is close to people involved in this situation stating her opinion, nothing more. It is her opinion, you can either take it or leave it, but do not tell other posters that they cannot post something leave that to the mods.

Guys I want you all to understand that this is nothing new. We decided this months ago on another case where SO were a possibility. We cannot babysit a thread 24 hours a day and they move so fast we do miss alot. When we are alerted to something we act on it immediately.

YOU GOT IT!! I also would like to point out the just because one is registered at a address doesnt mean that they are still there. There are soooo many that fail to reregister when they move, and the info is not updated until they do.

This is exactly what I am concerned about. Go read the TOS on the registry sites. They state that they are there for the sole purpose of protecting THOSE WHO NEED TO BE PROTECTED, not for harrassment (which they CAN claim based on their names and addresses being mapped out on this site)
