Wow, nice work angel! I guess it was wishful thinking to hope that it wasn’t yet another pervert loose on the streets of Corvallis :(

Not that I disagree, but you have to keep in mind this is happening in a college town so sometimes odd things go on. For instance people get duct taped to walls or "borrow" couches from dorms to put them on skateboards and ride them down hills... I am not trying to say these things are normal or...

So, I have a buddy down at OSU and apparently there was another attempted abduction today. I guess it was a few blocks from oak park, a fairly short guy in his early to mid 20's. The girl maced him and got away. No word if they believe there is any relation to brooks disappearance.

I think the button is just this template with pink ribbon. http://www.findbrooke.com/docs/wilberger_button.pdf There is also a link on findbrook.com to a button being sold by a local artist that are complimentary with a donation of $5 or more.

No ponds or lakes near the campus come to mind but the river is really close, like a 5 min drive, if that. However, I suspect that the river (or other bodies of water) near portland would be a more likely place. Didn’t they say he purchased the blocks near portland a couple hours after she...

dannyodie, I was wondering that myself but later they said that he was not a suspect. They said they were able to confirm that he was at work during the time of brooks dissapearance.

This may or may not be useful to anyone but for those that don’t know about it, Microsoft hosts a web server that has satellite images of the entire US that you can zoom in far enough to distinguish individual cars. The photos aren’t current (I think they are around a year or two old in some...

I know exactly what you mean about feeling completely powerless. Its kind of at a point now where I am sure there is a lot we could think of to do, but there is already a lot that has been done. Without access to all of the information it’s hard to determine what really is a new idea and what...

I dont think they are used heavily but I got the impression that if you were down there, there was some risk of getting caught. It seems like they were checked out fairly regularly. I also saw university employees using the lifts that are built into the sidewalk (like the ones you see in many...

Scorpion, I graduated from OSU last summer so I can give you a little information on the tunnels. I have never seen them but I have heard from several people that once you get in the tunnels you can get pretty much anywhere on campus. I dont know about building access from the tunnels but I do...

Did anyone else notice that this happened 19 days after the 30 year anniversary of ted bundy abducting a corvallis woman? Most likely just coincidence but 30 is an awfully round number...
