Wow. IMO atleast they can now eliminate some of that and look specifically for any other footage of the car. Recreate the journey etc.
LE were quick to rule out that footage a while back of the person lifting a bag over a fence. Hopefully if this is an innocent person they come forward to...
The new surveillance video is interesting. Will breathe some life back into this case IMO. Could be coincidental but there's enough there for LE to look more into.
Well that's disappointing there's no DNA match. The last few days have been leading upto the results of that.
The remaining investigative paths aren't as fast.
IMO the case now shifts to a long term phase.
Thanks for the information. I'll retract my comment. I wasn't familiar with the difference in varieties across different countries.
Purple trailing variety is probably Lantana montevidensis that has no thorns.
The variety I'm familiar with is Lantana Camara which has tiny thorns and spreads so...
I thought Lantana had little spikes. I don't see it much here because it's classed as a weed.
Doesn't seem smart for the suspect to grab something that could prick a hole in the glove IMO.
In my opinion the recent investigative paths are unlikely to yield success, but they're going public in the hope it forces a mistake.
The helicopter with the bluetooth scanner might scare the suspect to move NG.
If there's multiple people involved in the kidnapping, you only need 1 weak link...
A POI released, while disappointing for the investigation, may not be the last we see of them.
If they're guilty then maybe they'll now feel the pressure of now needing to cover their tracks and make a mistake.
Just my opinion. Trying to be positive while we wait to see what happens next.
A new pool cleaning company sounds reasonable.
LE haven't ruled anyone out and if they're keeping track of the contractors who regularly visit NGs home. Probably best those people stay away until investigation concludes.
