Once we've gotten verifiable proof that she has, indeed, been found, this thread needs to be erased. The things that have been said about this woman could haunt her forever, interfering with job applications, etc.
I think there's a time limit on how long doctors, dentists, etc. are required to keep files. They also might possibly be required to post a public notice before destroying said files. If it turns out that Madeline is dead and must be identified through dental records, someone should let that...
Oops. Disregard my last question as to whether one's been filed. Sometimes posts appear as I'm writing a reply that I haven't yet seen. Still, you'd think just to get her photo out there to the public, they'd file one. Perhaps someone's seen her. Maybe you could talk them into filing it.
Earlier you said that you didn't want to file a missing-person's report without the family's permission. Then you said you had received that permission. I just wondered why they didn't file one themselves.
