Not an original idea, but one I'm starting to favor: Hired or freelance kidnapper/murderer went to the wrong house. Discovered their error either before or after they took the person who was there (if before, maybe didn't know what to do with an old woman who could ID them). In any case, took...
Couple of comments in relation to random posts: Perhaps Nancy changed churches during/after COVID and it was a member of this new church who contacted AG. That might account for not having the service at her pre-COVID church. As for the Guthrie Nevada Corporation, established, it was posted, in...
In regards to so many saying the search at AG house last night confirms he is/they are suspects, surely for the sake of a future trial of anyone else, LE would want to be able to say, "We searched the SIL's house repeatedly, luminoled it, processed their vehicles, etc. and found absolutely no...
The family’s failure to find blood at the front door a week ago speaks (somewhat) to their innocence and the guilt of a person less familiar with the family My assumption is the front door is never used by Nancy, so the family had no reason to dream that she had exited by the front door. That...
Apropos of a number of posts saying they would "push the button" or some such to send the money, as if it's an easy decision: It is much easier for us here, with a theoretical missing loved one and theoretical millions, to say what we'd do, than it is for someone with a real missing loved one...
I am confused by the timeline. The doorbell camera went offline at 1:47, yet a person was detected at 2:12? This is either an error or refers to two different cameras.
I don't understand this comment. Nancy Guthrie, assuming she's still alive, is an adult who lives alone, drives and is of very sound mind. I don't think it's up to her daughter to "let" her do anything.
Is anyone else thinking that maybe the (somewhat erratic and excitable) sheriff has this all wrong and there was no abduction? I'm imagining Mrs. Guthrie waking in the middle of the night, falling on the way to the bathroom, stumbling out the door (to get help? because she didn't recognize her...
If it were murder/suicide, and the reports on number of shots fired into each victim are true, MT would have to be the killer. Surely a gun residue test on her would quickly provide an answer to that question. Over a week later it seems clear it was not murder/suicide.
If I'm walking down a street and feel the need to call 911, the dispatcher will likely ask me my location and I will look to the closest house/business I can see and give them that address. Could this have happened in the April call attributed to the Tepes house? I have no idea.
The photos are not great so not sure many of us could be recognized. But if I’d gunned down a stranger on the streets of NY, my friends and family might be willing to disclose my identity to LE but I seriously doubt they’d be crowing on social media that they recognize the killer. After all, I’m...
