Even though I haven't posted here in months, not a week goes by that Susan Jacobson doesn't cross my mind.
How very sad that the only people who appear (at least to me) to continue to be truly concerned about her are a group of anonymous strangers on a discussion forum.
I live in the area and...
Kjac,
I understand the concern about the media. But for better or worse, they can be instrumental in focusing enough attention on a matter to facilitate either resolution, or a necessary change in the course of action being taken by authorities.
Have you considered asking the Roseville...

I've seen two interviews. The first one I saw doesn't appear to be archived anywhere. I've looked for the link with the intention of posting it here, and it's nowhere to be found.
Unfortunately, I think an individual being interviewed is at the mercy of what the media decides it wants to...
Thank you Kjac. Your willingness to discuss this with us and provide insight is very much appreciated. And the other side of the coin is duly noted.
I hope nothing that's been said here has felt too intrusive or offended you. I think we all care. I've never experienced anything like what...
Before I became really intrigued by this case and joined WS, I knew I remembered hearing somewhere that the car was "pretty far out in the parking lot." I couldn't remember where I heard that. For what it's worth, I finally found the source.
Check out the posts by a local resident going by...
Know what you mean, Treelights. Hopefully a vigil or some other event will bring some media attention, and that will initiate new inquiries from the media for an update on the case from the Roseville Police Department. Then maybe we'll know more from what they say.....and don't say.
Post on Facebook page for Susan published Friday says hoping to hold a vigil or similar event for Susan in the next few weeks.
Heartened to see this happening.
I joined this conversation late. But this was my first impression when I read the request. I think it's multi-purpose, though. Investigators could question people who were present at that location that day/time about a) the car, b) anyone/anything weird, and c) the general amount of activity...
At the risk of stating the obvious, I've always believed that the reason law enforcement appealed to anyone who was in that parking lot between 4 a.m. and noon to contact them, was that they wanted to see if they could find anyone who places that car in the parking lot prior to Susan's alleged...
Yep. And now there seems to be some confusion (at least to me) as to where the car was actually parked and whether or not law enforcement is withholding specific information on the exact location of the car.
This is a woman who had a hip replacement and possibly (if I recall correctly) would...
I am very confused about the car location. Refer to the below post from Kjac (post #478 from 6/26). From this post, I'm inferring that the photo of the parked car on FB may simply be representative of "where Susan would usually park her car," and not necessarily where investigators actually...
Here's the last I recall seeing on the matter of the keys (post #141):

Her car was parked a little ways back in the lot, I think mid-way down or so (not right at front as you would...
I'm curious about the time span of any videos in question.
In other words, if someone is present in Raley's parking lot at 7:00 a.m, would any recording capturing that person's presence still be accessible that evening? Or would it have already been erased or recorded over?
