I think you are half right. I know a couple of the detectives that work the area and they're not the sort that dismiss a case because the victim doesn't fit their ideal human. I think the difficulty with this case isn't lack of police interest but the lack of witness testimony and uncooperative...

It's been my experience that silence is a symptom of shame/fear more than anything else. One trend I'm noticing as I mine Facebook for her friends and associates is that a lot of them are self proclaimed Satanists, Vampires, or other peculiar sects. And not the clean cut, keep it to themselves...

There' is now a Bring Phylicia Home page on Facebook. Good on her friends for getting that into the public awareness before it falls out of the news. In 3 hours they have nearly 400 likes. I went through friends and family and not many are talking about the disappearance on their pages. BUT...

The latest article from Pilot-Online includes a composite of a person of interest, seen near her place on 9/4 and verifies that her one year old female boxer is missing as well.
