Imo it also shows she was legally sane at the time of the murders. She understood the consequences of her actions and she knew what she was doing was bad. So while mental health issues are obviously a factor here, she was fully culpable for murdering 6 people.

It's possible that someone parked a vehicle up at the lay-by near the entrance to the road and walked down without being noticed. I can't help but think that there must have been a vehicle involved because otherwise where did she disappear to?
I don't think so, Cashelard isn't that remote. I live a few miles down the road from it, anybody driving up the main Donegal road would see the turn off.
