I hope her phone records might reveal something. Without the phone I don't know what they can tell for example, could they see a search history if she was logged into Google or something? This really feels like a plan to me. Albeit quite a strange one, there's such a number of steps involved...

I wonder why so far we have no cctv of those missing hours? Surely it would help to give some indication of her state of mind. Where was she all day? What was she doing? Who was she with? If she was distressed or confused, why did no one notice? Or help? You'd think people would come...

Yes this information makes more sense of what they said earlier: she took a small boat to get closer to a bigger boat. I'm curious that she tried to hotwire a boat with an engine. I wonder if she has experience of boats, that seems like a peculiar and specific thing to do.
