LA County is notorious for failing to keep anything on their old cases, from which a DNA profile can be constructed. I don''t know if it was this case, or one of the other Mt. Baldy area skeletal remains cases, that I called them up, and they said that they didn't have the remains anymore...
Both of those are artist's renditions. The one on the left was created by me, using a coroner's photo that is not publicly available. The one on the right was done by the NCMEC, based on the post-embalming photo that the agency released to the public.
Yes, they are in family search, and can be found if you search on their names, but birth or baptism records of their grandchildren would not show up in a query of their names, even if they are named in the birth records of the grandchildren. What you linked to was a tree constructed by a...
We knew it wasn't one of the sons due to some very technical issues with how X-chromosome segments pass from generation to generation. X Chromosome segments cannot pass from father to son. They can only pass from father to daughter, mother to son, or mother to daughter.

And that is a high school photo taken more than 10 years prior to her death. I have a second photo of her with her hair pulled back and her mouth nearly closed that compares a little better to the drawing, but even so, all I had was a skull, a hair description, and an age 40-55 age estimate.
That was 11 years ago I made that post. I don't recall where I got the mile marker cooirdinates that i got on the skull, but it was probably in the now-removed NamUs page (UP4407)
I brought up Michelle Lokker to Chris Haverdink back in 2013 the first time that Cathy and I met with him. His response at the time was that he had a pretty good idea of who was responsible for her disappearance.
Apparently, they know a lot more about her case than what is public information.
I was asked to do a revised facial reconstruction for this Jane Doe. The new reconstruction was requested after the DNA profile assessed her ethnicity to be Eastern Guatemalan.
