hey Carl! may i ask where you got the information regarding Claremont John Doe being found near mile marker 1.18 on Mt Baldy Rd? just wondering because this is pretty far from Claremont, and i can't seem to find any other sources that mention the mile marker regarding the skull

That was 11 years ago I made that post. I don't recall where I got the mile marker cooirdinates that i got on the skull, but it was probably in the now-removed NamUs page (UP4407)

I doubt there's any genetic material left for testing for either #UP4410 (the torso) or #UP79269 (the skull) given the county these remains were found in.

LA County is notorious for failing to keep anything on their old cases, from which a DNA profile can be constructed. I don''t know if it was this case, or one of the other Mt. Baldy area skeletal remains cases, that I called them up, and they said that they didn't have the remains anymore.

It is likely they were cremated and buried in a common grave at the County Cemetery on 1st & Lorena in Boyle Heights. That is where all LA County Does and indigents are interred.
