Ok, I know this is weird, but are you referring to Hwy 27 which is a north south road or are you referring to 27 which is Suck Creek Road? Suck Creek Rd runs along the TN river and has many boat ramps or ways to easily get into the river. It runs along the TN river for awhile and then goes up...

No overpass or underpass between Glendale and Russell. Going east on Mountain Creek, Highway 27 creates an overpass.

Several weeks ago, a small plane circled and went back and forth across the mountain for what it seemed like about two hours. I noticed it as I was out doing yard work and don't usually hear much noise. I thought it might be a search as it was just unusual .
