Not sure what to make of the cellphone "pinging around town here." I forgot that detail. Do pings change from tower to tower, or do they usually stay on a single (closest) tower?
Other connections to religion:
- In an interview when DC was asked what he thought when he listened to "down the hill", he said his first thought was that it was the voice of "the devil"
- The press conference was held in a church (apparently due to lack of space, but again, aren't there...
I do think there was some religious element. During an early press conference, directly addressing the killer, Doug Carter states that he recently watched the movie The Shack. Well, that just so happens to be a movie about a murder and Christianity. Given how carefully Doug Carter was...
Thoughts on "different tentacles."
- anthony_shots communicated with victims on day of murder, planning to meet
- LE knows multiple people (at least 2, e.g., KAK + his father) have access to that account
- however, apparently KAK is NOT the killer
- Ron Logan created an alibi about his...
Any speculation about why LE would have considered RA's claim that he was in the area not credible? Could this be as ridiculous as writing off his claim because he said he didn't see the girls (or presumably anyone) when LE knew the girls were there at the time?
The search warrant for Ronald Logan's property indicated that this didn't appear to be the case.
> The warrant also said the "rest of their clothing" was found, and that there were no signs of a "struggle or fight."...
I read through the original search warrant for Ron Logan's home (he has since been cleared by LE). Investigators never said how the girls were killed, however, the warrant notes significant blood loss and says they were killed by a [redacted] weapon. In the amount of space that would fit, we...
Could it be they know his eyes are not blue because Libby/Abby were meeting someone else that day, and they commented during the recording "Your/His eyes aren't blue..." as he approached?
If this was an online catfish, the photos he shared may have depicted a man with blue eyes.
I saw mention...
Having dealt with judges who seem to feel the need to "lecture" you during sentencing, I would imagine the judge told RL something along the lines of "maybe in the future, think twice before having another drink" which would've prompted a reply like the one RL gave.
The photo of Abby was taken by Libby, right? Like most phones these days, that's a pretty decent camera.
The grainy stills of BG are extremely pixelated. I'm beginning to think BG was a very small figure in one of the video recordings early on in the bridge crossing and that Libby perhaps...
Fascinating point IMO. I have been really considering scenarios beginning with BG confroting the girls immediately after the photos, him or someone directing them "down the bridge" to the murder site. Can't really come up with a plausible scenario where that's not the context. Your ideas?
Thought about it - it's possible, but nothing any more telling than the other clues. IMHO the simplest explanation is they believe the crime was committed locally but the person has since left the area.
I'm sure LE is following the lead, but I was curious about colleges in Indiana with brown colors (and brown hoodies). According to https://www.caninejournal.com/college-colors/ there is only one - Valparaiso University. It's about 90 minutes north of Delphi.
Hope LE checks it out.
Great point. Would be extremely helpful if LE released more details about these 2 photos but I suspect they have far better clues to release and simply cannot compromise the case.
