Yes I am familiar with the area and that train. As I previously mentioned, this train at that time is normally very quiet, the only people who board it at Guildford are those who live locally and are only travelling a few stops. The assailant left the train at Clandon, it's mostly countryside...

At that time of the day (off peak) this train would have been very quiet as this is the stopping service from Guildford that takes over 1 hour to get to Waterloo, as opposed to the fast service which takes only 38 minutes. It leaves Guildford with only a few passengers on it, so I doubt there...
