Here is a link to Greg's obituary. The obit says date of death is October 24 but the funeral memorials state death as of October 28. The exact date may never been known for sure...

Deer Lodge is still reeling. Last week marked the 3rd anniversary of the death of a beloved business owner who was murdered by her husband. And then earlier this year a man murdered his family of 4 and then committed suicide. Until the aforementioned incidents, in the decades I have lived here...

The sheriff knows who broke into Greg's house. A local meth user broke in looking for drugs and has been bragging around town about it. The sheriff is aware of the guy but nothing has been done, he has not been detained.

The Sheriff is playing his cards close to his vest. There is nothing new on the break-in at Greg's or the gold. Nelson has not been charged as of yet.

As a sad footnote to this story, Beverly's sister passed away last week and was layed to rest today.
