Not quite accurate. Emma's mother hadn't seen her since Sept 2011 and they didn't talk on the phone (until a few days prior to Emma's disappearance), but they did keep in contact by email. They likely did, but doesn't appear as though she/they is/are suspects, as reported in today's news: " . . .The DNA doesnt match anyone from the couples family or working staff, he said. . . ." High-lighting is mine.- Dixmoo
