RSW is out on probation. Has been for over a year. Not surprising. With Donnie dead and Brittney missing, his testimony broke the whole case. IIRC he also convinced one of the victims to testify. So he probably got a deal from the DA for his testimony.
Hard to believe it’s been... what, 8 years?
They may be using "relationship" as a way of indicating that this abuse was ongoing, and not a random attack. It could also be because the sexual contact was consensual, and not forced. This is the South, and from what I've heard about this family, it wouldn't surprise me to find out that the...
Zeaux, did you ever figure out who (under the names "discustedbyit", "disgusted" and "ks") was making the rounds of all of the MSM sites trying to link you with Scott Wood?
PS, Glad to see you posting here again.
Of the original two arrests, LE stated that they had a confession from one of the perps. Since DK is still maintaining his innocence, we can deduce that RSW is the one who confessed. Looking at their original booking photos, you can kind of tell which one of them has just confessed and which one...
I don't know about protective custody, but there's no way the US Marshalls Service would let a missing persons case continue to progress if they had someone in WP. The last thing the Marshalls want is people plastering a witness' photo all over the internet and handing out flyers. Makes it hard...
That's a contradiction. If nothing happened (no foul play) there would be no evidence. There's no way to prove that something didn't happen. They would have to prove that something else happened instead of foul play.
I was thinking the same thing. The fact that she's spent time on the wrong side of the law, and has abused drugs and alcohol (look at DW's pictures of his sister with a bottle of Crown and a bottle of vodka) means she is "street wise" enough to how to make money to keep herself in food and...
I think the area that LE is interested in is the Marlow community, where County 32 crosses Fish River. Turkey Creek is farther southwest. Marlow is to the east of Fairhope, but still considered Fairhope for mail and 911 purposes. The bridge that crosses Fish River on U.S. Highway 98 is called...
I can't be the only one who's noticed that each of the accused has a Facebook page that lists their religion as "Christian" and there's a lot of religious talk on their pages.
BTW, I heard something similar to this, word of mouth, from someone connected to LE in Mobile County. She said that they've received reports of sightings of BW in Tillman's Corner, and that unlike other missing persons cases, all of the sightings are centered around a very small area, in places...
I think the thing that's bothering a lot of people is that it seems like there might be a good chance that Brittney doesn't want to be found, if she's still alive, and that she might not be missing, so much as she's just decided to cut her losses and run away.
What's tying her to this area? Not...
Good to see that the Press-Register and their media partner al.com have finally taken an interest in this case. Although, it looks like the TV stations are the only ones who have the manpower to spend investigating the case.
