AL - Incest Sodomy Rape multiple victim under age of 16

Found the "Gather" blog. Interesting and everything I wish I could say here sometimes ;)

HAHA! I googled that too! Very recent yard sale on craigslist as well, I remember CW saying she was having a yard sale, I thought she lived in Baldwin County, in a trailer? There are a LOT of children in that neighborhood and area.

I looked back through my posts and found where I was asking if anyone knew if CW was still having her yard sale... That was the weekend of Aug. 11th.

The post isn't on CW's fb page any longer.

If it can be told, who owns that house? (SW were the given initials earlier...the only SW I know is CW's sister...) TIA

BBM I doubt that.

I didn't google the addy or the yard sale. But, I am very familiar with Alpine Hills...I grew up in that area, of course, that was many years ago. lol
I remember when Zeaux made the map "Middle Ring Rd" stood out to me because I knew there was one in the area of Alpine Hills.

Chatty, I did too, we were probably neighbors!! Thanks for the clarification, I didn't know there were 2 Middle Ring Rd.

If DH picked up Britney on his motorcycle then logically WWH must have had the truck that he later killed himself in. WWH had the kids and picked up DH who then dropped her and the kids off at a friend's house (supposedly). Did they own other vehicles? If not then why would DH kill himself in the only car that his family could possibly use after he was dead. He shot himself in a secluded area so why not get out of the truck to do it? Did he think that WWH and his kids would want to have to drive around in the vehicle of death? Did he think that WWH could just clean up a blood splattered car and sell it? Or she could just drive his 3 children around on his bike? Aside from his crimes and the investigation and his choice of suicide he opted to destroy the family car too? Was there evidence in the truck that he was trying to cover up?

I know this has been discussed but it keeps gnawing at me that his would just drive down the road from his home (he could have walked) to destroy one more thing in his beloved family's life. Why not just get out of the damn car and shoot yourself???? Why leave this problem to your soon to be grieving widow and the orphaned children you are leaving behind?

I feel like we need a brief over view again. I know FB mom did a great timeline, which I think is at the start of every thread. I remember hearing about a motorcycle but I'm not sure that was ever stated as factual? I came into this case it seems a little late.

I don't think there's too much positive information (as in things that have been proven), :banghead: even the ping of her cell phone is questioned, if it was turned back on in order to throw people off (which I think most people feel that it was).

This is something an insider would have to answer

I just read an article ('m going back through to play catch up) where not only was Donny's name put as WOOD and not Holland but by the comments people were disappointed that it had taken the local news (on that site at least) 10 days to cover her missing. :( I just dont' understand the lack of concern from the media! Sure she's 19 but even before the tangled mess of her family came out, no one knew in the media and it should have been widely covered. It wasn't.

I have been shocked that a spokesman hasn't stepped up (I know it was reported they had one) .. which is also a popular media hound. Typically media hounds seek these sort of cases out for attention. While that isn't terrific, at this point, I think everyone will take what they can get to have her story told and her photo out there. I know another case was sort of similar, same sort of background in the girls, same age.. and the other was given far more press time and trust me, that family wasn't rich. That story turned out horrific, beyond what anyone can imagine. I'm talking about Carina Saunders. Absolutely horrible. The similarities have nothing to do with the sex crimes currently going on with BW's family. I try and separate that from her to give her more focus. Brittney and Carina even look a tad alike. Eerie and sad.

Anyway, I'm rambling with no real point. I think the reason everyone has been up Wendy Holland's business is because of her constant meddling in the start of things and the fact everyone knew she knew something (it was that obvious). So I wouldn't be shocked regarding any "clean up" procedures afterwards.

I believe they owned two family vehicles and probably "carpooled" to the Styx River house the previous day/evening...

That of course is IF she was even really at the Styx River house with DH and the boys on Thursday evening... not that we have any solid reason to think she wasn't but considering how credible she has shown herself to be - it does need to be taken with a grain of salt.

clarabelle, I believe the truck was detailed afterwards so it could be used again. Not that I could ever drive the truck where a person shot himself in the head. ICK.

I'm not saying this is what happened in anyway, but something I ponder is the financial aspect of suicide verses a prison term. If a father is sent to prison he's unable to offer any support to his children except the very small amount he may earn doing prison work. However if a father dies, his minor survivors are eligible for social security payments until the age of 18 or longer if they attend college.

big moo

Excellent point that I had not considered!

I only recall tossing around the idea of life insurance as a financial motive (which IMO is highly unlikely).

Social Security does pay benefits if there's a suicide, where almost all life insurance policies do not. This is why some people will do the "cop suicide", walk into traffic or anything else that could be written down as something other than.

I haven't seen a grieving widow, that's for darn sure.

WWH is driving a suburban. She drove it for their move at the beginning of this month.

Granted Brittney and this young girl have little in common with their lifestyle's BUT considering the extenuating circumstances surrounding Brittney's disappearance and that it IS out of character for her to not communicate with ANYONE...

Stories like the one linked below make me scratch & bang my head at the lack of concern shown by LE with the effort to find Brittney and get to the bottom of the sex crimes investigation (which at this point - IMO looks more and more like a sex ring & should have the attention of the FBI).

I wish MPD & BCSO would accept the offers of NCMEC, ABI and the FBI to assist them.

Child endangerment arrest related to sex crimes case
Wendy Wood Holland charged with child endangerment

"BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) - Wednesday, August 22, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Wendy Wood Holland for one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Officials say the arrest is related to the ongoing sex abuse case that resulted in the five previous arrests. Investigators say there are additional arrests expected."

Who's next?

I'm hoping that the "additional arrests" will happen soon. I bet another female but a male perp would be great too! And I would like to make a small request to whom ever it is that sets bond...make it HIGHER!!!

Checking the BCSO Jail View daily in hopes of recognizing someones profile photo from facebook or their initials!!!

Did he think that WWH and his kids would want to have to drive around in the vehicle of death? Did he think that WWH could just clean up a blood splattered car and sell it? Or she could just drive his 3 children around on his bike?

He committed suicide. Obviously his higher reasoning skills had shut down at that point.

Sex crime suspect in court
Updated: Thursday, 30 Aug 2012, 10:12 AM CDT

A family friend of missing teenager Brittney Wood... William Brownlee is one of five men arrested for allegedly having a *sexual relationship with an underage Fairhope girl.

Investigators say she (Wendy Wood Holland) knew about the sexual encounters with several young victims and didn’t report it.

http://www.fox10tv.com/dpp/news/local_news/baldwin_county/sex-crime-suspect-in-court

*there they go again with the "relationship" language...

I'm going to try to remain optimistic that even if this "relationship" is considered "statutory rape" and the fact that Wendy Wood Holland knew about the several young victims' "encounters" - that it collectively withstands a better chance of being considered a sex ring and/or possibly in exchange for money, favors, drugs, housing, whatever... or at the very least bribery/extortion...

ANYTHING to make these charges far more serious against everyone will increase the chance of Brittney being found and justice being served for the victims.
