I wonder this too but we have a similar clause for drug use and other less desirable acts in our small trust for our son. Definitely not 10s of millions like this family but didn’t want to fuel unsavory activities with our money.

Sure but I don’t have much more detail than what others have posted that wouldn’t be pure gossip. The private school circuit in Baltimore is relatively small so you hear things over the years.

One of the ironies here is that he just turned 26 - so he only would have been off his parent’s health insurance for a few months.

Investor conferences are very public. Even if they aren’t public, many people at his company could probably access his calendar.

If it is truly a WW2 gun, that would eliminate the theory of an int’l killer. I can’t think of a way you could travel overseas with a weapon like that.

I think it is tied to the event that day - the financial meeting. Plus, hiding in plain sight is easier in NYC than in suburbia MN.

It would take a lot of energy to travel for 10 days then escape on an e-bike after a murder. If there is illness in the scenario, I would think it would be a family member.

Married to a veterinarian and I asked him about this gun. He looked at me like I was nuts. Never heard of it - granted he is a small animal vet so not shooting his clients but I am not sure shooting animals is common practice anymore in the vet field.

How does an arrest for insider trading impact the stock price? Could it be another C suite exec that is disgruntled at the insider trading issue and worried about his financial future?
